This place isn't just a store, it's a hub where you always see a friendly face and get top-notch service. The staff goes above and beyond (most of the time), and they've helped me find everything from a last-minute dinner ingredient to the perfect steak. The quality of their produce, meat, and baked goods is fantastic for the convenience, it's always fresh and reliable, and you can tell they care about what they're selling. A large chain store can buy in huge volumes and offer lower prices, but a local grocery store like ours simply can't compete with that model. What we're paying for here is convenience, reliability, and the peace of mind that we're supporting our own community. Village Market is a hidden treasure conveniently located on M-57 in Carson City, Michigan. For those considering shopping at Village Market, this is what you can expect to find. At Village Market you will find good people that take good care of their customers. You will be greeted with smiles and friendly gestures as soon as you walk through the door. You will find a fine bakery with all types of baked goods, beautifully done rotisserie chicken, and some delicious crispy fried chicken. You will see a great line of produce and they don't mind if you taste a grape or two. Then you will come around and see a huge selection of dairy products with prices lower than most other stores. Very nice market to shop for groceries. They have a great meat case, very clean and well stocked store with plenty of staff to help with any questions or assistance. Bottle return machines work well and are cleaned thoroughly and maintained well. Custom deer processing offered in season. Great gas station and party store on site also. Diesel fuel available for regular and larger size trucks. Nicely renovated large parking lot. New beautifully remodeled and roomy check out area. Nice clean bathrooms in gas station....
