Glenwild Garden Center — Local services in Bloomingdale

This is a very unique little shop that has a wonderful array of indoor plants and outdoor plants/landscaping supplies. The plants are always very healthy and full, the staff is kind and knowledgeable. Inside the shop they also have quite a selection of locally made decorations and unique gifts. Right now they've got a wonderful Christmas selection. I purchased a number of trees this week, but due to a small vehicle was unable to bring them home for me. They offered to deliver them for me, and did so promptly. I am very happy with all the purchases I've made there, and the young gentleman that delivered my trees was very polite. I come here for all my plant needs! I love thier variety of outdoor plants, trees indoor plants, succulents, and veggies! I just purchased this beautiful Monstera Thai Constellation. I was looking for an Albo but when I saw this beauty, I just had to have it. All staff members I spoke with were so delightful and helpful when it came to this purchase. I had a few questions about it and No one was annoyed, but better yet- they were just as excited as I was! I love to shop local and and support small buisness.

I came here for an aloe plant for natural skincare. The price was good, and my plant is still going strong (it's obvious that they take care of them, unlike some big businesses that don't water them and let them bake in the sun). I went back with my husband for a bunch of items for our organic garden. The staff are super friendly- as well as Gimpy the Cat- and very helpful. We enjoy talking with them.
