We've visited this family-run business twice, and both times we felt right at home. Our most recent visit ended in an unexpected purchase of a sectional, beautiful accent rug, and eye-popping cocktail table.

We were assisted by Stephanie, who was abundantly patient with us while we selected a detailed permutation of layout configuration, fabric, and accent pillow colors. It seemed like we had some level of interaction with every member of the staff that day, whether it was them offering us bottled water, or shuffling around furniture to aid us in visually understanding how pieces might go together ... everyone was so accommodating and kind.

Stephanie easily spent three hours dedicated exclusively to our effort. We didn't expect this, yet she wasn't even fazed by it. After consummating our transaction, I realized some hours (or a day?) later that I had forgotten the coupon in our car so I e-mailed Stephanie with that coupon, and she happily applied it after the fact. We felt like we were getting some real insider/royalty treatment. :)

Man do they have a lot of stuff. It is a 2-floor facility, and they have such a variety of furniture in a wide range of price points. I wish we weren't so laser focused on the sectional (Craftmaster!), because I feel like there was so much more stuff to see; will have to make another trip I guess.

Anyways, back to the sectional, table, and rug ... they do offer delivery. They have a third-party service that they partner with, but if there are enough deliveries to your area, it's cost-effective enough that they'll deliver the stuff themselves. That saves a couple of bucks for us too, I felt. We were so lucky to have the Blowing Rock Furniture Gallery truck roll up in front of our house (much to the "whoa!" of our neighbor). I liked that for the accountability, and they were really nice fellas, Jacob and Russ (actually washed their hands before assembling the furniture!).

When we moved to the High Country a year ago, a neighbor recommended we go to Blowing Rock Furniture Gallery for the guest bedroom furniture we needed, rather than drive all the way to Hickory to visit the outlet stores. With BRFG's price match policy, that was GREAT advice! The folks at BRFG were very helpful and patient, and helped us combine pieces from different collections for the unique look we were looking for. We've gotten so many complements on it!

We went back last week to buy a piece for our living room. We had multiple criteria for the piece, which made things challenging. After looking at several pieces they had that were ALMOST what we needed (each one meeting some - but not all - of our requirements), they made some phone calls and located exactly what we were looking for. The piece is now on order, and we're on our way to completing the warm friendly feel for our living room that we hoped to achieve.

Both times we were there we were able to take our time to look around and try out the furniture without feeling like we were being stalked. The sales folks are helpful without hovering, and exhibited a friendliness that made us feel like neighbors. Both times they really listened when we described what we wanted the rooms to look like, offering helpful suggestions and doing research. I can't recommend them...

It’s always a pleasure doing business with Blowing Rock Furniture. Ryan Rudow was the sales person for our latest purchase. He was outstanding and impressive from beginning to end! Dylan and Tate were both top notch and worked extremely hard in making sure everything was placed perfectly and were very careful in moving the new pieces and very mindful of our home. It is always the best experience as they never disappoint!
