Please allow me to start off by sharing that we entered this Outback Steakhouse with a party of 13... I know, just asking for trouble. The hostess was able to accommodate and have our table ready in about 30 minutes. I give them credit for making that happen on an early Saturday evening. We had been given menus in advance to help expedite the ordering process. The waiter took our drink ordering and exited. A short time later, He returned with our drinks. As He began taking our food orders, it appeared that he was making every effort to create orders to the 2 groups. Here begins how things began to unravel. There were a few team members who assisted in bringing out food. When all the meals were presented, I noticed our waiter retur. Unfortunately, I he did not follow up to make sure that everyone had their meals. Unfortunately, it happened to be my mother-in-law who did not receive her meal. This was brought to my wife's attention halfway through our meal. My wife asked to speak to a manager, to which he did respond promptly. My mother-in-laws sandwich was finally brought out but was less than acceptable. Dry and burnt on the edges. It was apparent that it was prepared quickly. At the end of this unfortunate family experience, it is my understanding that one of the members of the family spoke with the manager once again and came to an understanding. The reason that I am posting this experience is a few fold. I truly believe that the Waiter tried his very best to hold down this large seating. The members that help serve tried their best. The manager who stepped up to do his best to make it right did his best. I believe that this experience may have been able to be diverted if our waiter had called for someone to assist with a group of this size. Life happens, and I hope this posting not only helps those who read this post but also the team of...
Read moreLate dinner @ 9 pm , Monday night. NOT up to usual Outback Quality standards this night. . Am a very frequent business traveler and diner .
Walked in , Not greeted , found own way to bar table. Only 2 tables occupied, server Taylior C. VERY slow to arrive. Seemed inexperienced , less than cheerful , very matter of fact demeanor. Manager (guy) spent 10 mins talking to the cops at bar booth , not paying attention to duties , nor did he once tour the room to ask anyone how they were doing - Lame .
Ordered clam chowder - Bowl. Arrived hot , but , half - filled ( photo) . Prob would have been about same amount as the cup . Signs of things to come........ Ordered the Bloomin Petals ( usually good for 1) , arrived luke-warm, had not been prepared fresh , Nor - re -heated prior to serving . No Silverware at or brought to table , had to request it.
Ordered Steakhouse salad with Salmon instead , Should have been an easy swap, instead server had to track down manager to ask , finally came back with un-needed detail, could have just said it would be $1 more, to do that , which it turned out to be.
Salad prepared well, they missed a large chunk of lettuce core that was left in it , pointed it out to server along with the dissatisfactory Bloomin Petals , did not receive any concern or apology for either. Gave phone # for Dine Rewards, server did not ask if I wanted to use a Reward I had saved, just used it anyway . Bartender resolved for me and also made a mean Castaway Cocktail.
All in all, : Bartender was great , but a less than satisfactory dining experience primarily as result of indifferent server and poor attention to detail by kithen staff.. Not Professional as an Outback should be. Once again , , the price you pay for glaring lack of Experience and unconcerned manager . Prob will not return to...
Read moreMy Friends and I had dinner here over the weekend. While waiting for a table I was able to speak to the Front of House manager Caroline. I made her aware of my dairy allergy and asked if they would be able to accommodate. She said that not only would they be able to accommodate, but they would also verify the order before it was sent to the kitchen. When the time came to order our, I reminded our server Max of my allergy and he also confirmed that he understood and that he would ensure that my food remain dairy free. Some time goes by, and the food is brought out. I had Steak and Shrimp, with fries and steamed vegetables. About 15-20 minutes after the food was served, Caroline came out to tell me that there had been a mix up and I was served butter with my steamed vegetables. I had already eaten pretty much all the veggies on my plate. They apologized and offered to comp my meal. After Caroline left our table, our server Max came back. He was extremely apologetic and said that it was so busy, and he didn’t see our food come out. After this visit, no one came back to our table for over 30 minutes. We had to find a different server just to get our checks. I’m writing this review because Food allergies are serious business. I have a four month old daughter who is breastfeeding and she is extremely allergic to dairy. Now because of this mix up she has been crying for two days straight. Unable to sleep and unable to eat properly and constantly having bowel movements. A word of caution to anyone who wants to eat at this establishment that has food allergies. Your food may not be prepared with the caution...
