Maw's Produce — Local services in Blowing Rock

We travel through here regularly and stop at Maw’s each time we go through. This is enough to be recognized by the friendly staff working there. While everything is fantastic here, the meats might surprise you in a good way. We stock up on anything we’d like to grill here from their freezer. The steaks are better than you can get at a steakhouse, in my opinion. They also have some excellent chicken pies and other easy meal options. If you are looking for boiled peanuts, this is the place to get them! You might want to call ahead and make sure they have some ready, because they are fresh and not just sitting in a pot for days like some other places. Their baked goods are all amazing as well. I'm a retired Marine I Meet Maw in my second enlistment many years ago . I Adopted Maw , I would stop in the spring an ask for her Hunny Do list !

I'd do what I could an Hire out as needed , Maw would try to pay me with Cash . We would agree to her cooking me A seat Down Meal an hour's of conversation !

Maw's is a cute produce stand with a nice selection of spices, baked goods, speciality products, produce and a selection of frozen foods. Some of the produce was just okay. We did like the frozen baked ziti but we were very disappointed in the frozen macaroni and cheese. It was made by A Full Measure located in Mocksville, NC.
