I was mid-move from across the country and I ran into a bit of car trouble. It is not lost on me how incredibly lucky I was to have my car run into the issue it did, where I was. The guys at Jay's shop were able to work on my car that morning and let my dog and I hang out in the office for the day while the guys got my car ready to get back on the road. They were honest, up front and so genuinely kind to me when I was feeling pretty bummed about the work that needed done. I know first hand how hard and sometimes impossible it is to find not only good mechanics, but honest ones who wont rip you off. These are the GOOD GUYS! Ive heard about Minnesota folk being the most kind people in the US and boy did they live up to that. I am forever grateful to guys at this shop for the work they did and the kindness they showed me. Hello! I brought my car in for overheating and they fixed it by putting the engine cooling fan on when the key turns. As I drive it back home, my interior blower fans stopped working. I bring it back to get fixed. Now my transmission is failing. It won't go into 4th gear. 2 times now I have brought my car in and they broke something else (interior fans and transmission.) I texted them to see if they would do anything about this, as the transmission was fine before, the interior blower fans were fine before, and no answer from them. Jay's shop helped my family by replacing an AC compressor and clutch, recharged my AC refrigerant w/ dye. I seen a leak in the AC refrigerant months ago and didn't have time to get it looked at (Moving to B.E.). The diagnosis was very quick and I was scheduled for replacing the AC clutch and Compressor +refrigerant w/dye. The cost estimate was exactly what they charged me after the repair. Nothing great is free, and you get what you pay for. I highly recommend Jay's shop, they made sure we were taken care of. If I have auto issues again, Jay's shop will be my go-to shop....
