George's Barber Shop — Local services in Blythe

This low review is specifically for the gal in the last chair in the back on the left side as you're walking in. I asked for a taper fade and she gave me a taper that was really messed up. Different lengths on either side, same in the back, clear visible line on the left. I went back in to ask them to fix it. They asked me to point out a picture but really didn't have a picture of what I wanted so I chose the closest which was a med fade. Then she tells me that there is no such thing as a taper fade and proceeds to give me a high fade. I showed her some pics on my phone then she realized that she may be incorrect and finally apologizes. I get home and look closer, my now unwanted highfade is still choppy with lots of hair sticking out .I also asked her to trim the top and now I have bangs that are 2 inches longer on the left side. For reference I have slicked back hair on top with a a fade on the sides. George, if you read these, know that my haircut is still messed up and it wasn't just the fade (which she butchered). They treated me like dirt. I called them on Saturday morning and asked: "I want to get my hair cut this afternoon. Do I need to make an appointment, or can I just drop in?" They told me: "No need to make an appointment. Just come by. We'll fit you in." So I got in my truck and drove 40 miles across the desert to get there by 1:23. As I approached the shop, I saw there was a sign saying they were open until 7:00 p.m. And also I saw a sign saying, "Sorry, We are Closed." The front door was locked. I looked through the tinted window and saw that the shop was full of barbers and customers. An impassive barber pointed to the "Closed" sign. I made a hand signal to try to show him I had phoned them, but he just ignored me. I tried to call them to explain that I had driven 40 miles because they had told me on the phone that they could cut my hair, but they did not pick up. I feel that they treated me like garbage, and wasted half my day as well.I think it is disgusting to treat...

Bad haircuts n they get mad like u cut it wrong.. like to talk smack about you in spanish thinking no white people speak Spanish. If I could I'd give them a negitve 5. The only person who can cut decent is the owners brother.. if you don't get him I wouldn't get it cut there. Go to ponchos if you want a good haircut the first...
