Dollar General — Local services in Bolton

I generally don't shop at the Dollar General, but I had forgotten a pillow on my solo camping trip and decided to see if this store had what I needed. Well, I'll tell you what, I left with so much more than just a pillow. I found the love of my life here.

She was looking for some generalized dollar nail polish when I walked passed her with an overpriced and overstuffed general pillow. Generally speaking, I don't believe in love at first sight, but underneath those soft florescent lights, I caught the most beautiful brown-eyed girl I could find. Fate caused me to forget my pillow that day. Generally now, whenever I drive past a Dollar General, I'll tip my hat to the store for saving the day with a generally comfortable pillow and the lifetime of happiness...

I waited at the front forever but the cashier never showed up. She continued putting up looks like 2 pill bottles on the shelf and saw me waiting. She didn't say I will be there in a minute or anything . I sat my arm basket down and left. I will never go back to this DG again. I made a complaint to the store manager one day about one of her employees but she just looked at me as if I was speaking Spanish. The only nice one there is their lead Mekia. This store has everything you need at reasonable prices - from medicines to pet food to basic clothes items to trash cans to toys (they even have Lego sets), snacks, beer, wine...don't waste gas going all the way to Clinton for stuff! Staff are super friendly and the store is clean and tidy and well-stocked. Aisles and parking very handicapped friendly. You have to ask for a key to the bathroom, but they have two water fountains, which I always appreciate in...
