I am a local man and my car broke down at this lady's shop this morning SUNDAY and I left with my son to get some parts and returned with in 10 minutes to get something out of my car to go get the part and she had already showed up with the police department and told me I needed to remove it right now!! I explained it broke down and she didn't care an was RUDE AND TOLD ME TO GET IT OFF HER PROPERTY IT WAS IN THE WAY!! I SAID ARE YOU OPED TODAY AND SHE REPLIED NO BUT SHE DIDN'T CARE!! SHE SAID SOME MAY RUN INTO IT!! REMEMBER SHE SAID THE EHERE CLOSED AND SHE DIDN'T CARE!! HECK OF A WAY TO TREAT LOCAL PEOPLE WHEN YOU OWN A BUSINESS!! I EILL PRAY FOR HER!! I WAS ABLE TO MOVE IT JUST OFF HER PROPERTY AND HAD NO OTHER COMPLAINTS!! I TOLD HER I WAS JUST GOING TO WALMART TO GET A BATTERY AND I WOULD BE RIGHT BACK!! SHE TO THE POLICE SHE WANTED ME TO MOVE IT NOW!! NOT A VERY GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE TO TREAT LOCALS LIKE THAT!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS FOR ANYTHING!! Beware of Sweeney’s Pets. Falsely selling “hand fed” parrots. Was told “he will be an entirely different bird once you get him home”. Say anything for a sale. Poor bird is completely untrainable and terrified of hand movements and hands in general. I’ve never seen this with a “hand fed” parrot. Sweeney’s Pets is definitely lying about the “hand fed” section of parrots while charging exorbitantly more. We were buying for a new parrot owner so the “hand fed” part of the description was very important to us. I have over 40 years experience with parrots and have tamed wild cockatoos. The bird purchased from Sweeney’s Pets was definitely not hand fed. We payed much more than the going rate for “hand fed” attribute because it would make training easier for a beginner. However this bird is not trainable and hasn’t the beginning recognition of being handled or “hand fed”. This bird should have been sold to a breeding facility where it would have been happier. Lol, Jokes on us at the expense of the poor bird. Sweeney’s Pets got their money though....

The man working was not very nice and most importantly HE THREW THE MICE AND HAMPSTERS AND SAID THEY WERE “WORTHLESS AND USELESS ANIMALS!!! The rabbits were burning up there was not enough air ventilation. The chinchillas and ferret and a few others just looked so sad and miserable! I can only imagine what all of those poor babies deal with! And OMG THE SNAKES AEE KEPT IN SUPER SMALL CONTAINERS THEY CAN NOT EVEN MOVE! I have reported all of this to the humane society and Holmes county sheriffs office! For the poor innocent animals sake, it would be great if others would do the same so maybe the owners will sell it to someone who actually cares and will treat those animals and reptiles the way they deserve to be treated! I am still crying! My heart hurts so bad I wish I could afford to go rescue all of them!! Makes me sick at my stomach and so very angry! Worst pet store I’ve ever been to!
