I purchased a '19 Ford F-150 Lariat from AutoCenters Bonne Terre. It was a seamless process between test driving, financing, and signing the paperwork. I worked with Connor for my purchase. Connor takes his job to heart, he made the buying experience fun, and made me feel so welcomed that I felt I could've taken my shoes off and kicked back to hang out all day. I came in late on a Friday evening shortly before closing intending to just take a look at the truck before deciding if I'd come back later. The staff was more than happy to stay late to wrap up the deal. After taking my truck home, I discovered some damage and a leaking roof that I wouldn't have noticed on the rainless test drive. I brought up my concerns with Kevin, the store manager, and he took my concerns seriously and insisted on bringing the truck back to take a look. They lent me a similar truck in the meantime. They combed over my truck for a week making extra sure to get it ship-shape by replacing parts and cleaning it up. Connor and Kevin then stayed late AGAIN to get my truck back to me amid my wild and unpredictable work schedule. This truck is a testament to years of my hard work and being one of my biggest purchases. I'm thankful for Connor and Kevin making sure to give me the best experience. Thanks guys! 10 out of 5 stars!

I live in Massachusetts and was searching across the country for a very specific truck without getting price gouged. Autocenters had what I was looking for with a great price tag! I dealt with Aaron and I can honestly say I have never dealt with a better salesman in my life. I spent about a month to make the deal happen because buying an out of state vehicle and having it transported in Mass is a much bigger deal then I expected. Most salespeople would’ve gotten fed up after a week of dealing with the process. Aaron went above and beyond to go over every detail on the truck including an awesome video call. He handled all the back and forth with me and my insurance company to make this happen, we were in touch almost every day for a month. Not once did he ever get annoyed or sick of me even when multiple transport companies kept cancelling, he always had a fantastic attitude. You do not find that kind of service at all here in the Boston area. Complete honesty and transparency this truck was exactly what he said it was. It’s a 2016 and it’s in such amazing condition many people that have seen it have mistaken it for a new 2022. If you are on the fence of buying from Autocenters even if you’re from out of state do yourself a favor and do it you will not regret it. Aaron will take great care of you.

Buyer beware. I am editing my 5 star review to a 2 star. While Autocenters Bonne Terre was friendly and helpful when it was time to make the sale, this attitude and helpfulness did not continue. The day after purchasing my car, the transmission went out. They offered to take care of it and gave me a loaner while it was being repaired. I very specifically asked for a remanufactured transmission not a used one but they put a used one in it. I even offered to use the warranty I purchased and they pay the difference but they refused. Within 1000 miles, the used transmission went out - go figure! I brought it back in and they told me I was on my own. Thankfully I purchased the warranty and I will only be out ~$1200 but they wouldn’t meet me halfway on that either. To quote Kevin “I feel like we’ve already met you halfway when we replaced the transmission the first time.” If you say so, Kevin, if you say so. Good luck to anyone who wants to purchase a reliable vehicle from here. If something breaks, they “make it right” by putting the cheapest, used parts they can find to get your car back out of their hands.

purchased a 2008 jeep wrangler from this dealership, the guy couldn't climb into the thing which started the buying process out very well. drove the jeep and it was fine, but the breaks were awful, it wouldn't even try to stop. After our test drive I told the salesman I would buy the jeep, but only if they replaced the break pads and rotors, as the pads were nearly gone, and the rotors had obvious pitting. the salesman proceeded to tell me what the legal minimum was for the break pads, and that they were riiiiiight at the min, so he legally didn't have to replace them. I told him that was neat information, but for me to buy this jeep I would want the break pads and rotors replaced. After he repeated the legal minimum, walked back to his boss's office 3 times and then told me no they wouldn't do it, I said fine and walked out. the salesman ran out into the parking lot screaming "fine we will do what you want, we will replace the breaks". For a place that from the reviews seems willing to work with you, I figure at this point any review over a 3 star is either a paid actor or fake account lol. So I go back in sign the paper work and they send the car to the shop, telling me it will be done the next day, (cause they took 8hr of fighting to agree to replace the very unsafe breaks). So whatever, I went home, and drove back out the next day. The car was ready and everyone was smiling and we grabbed the keys and hopped in. All was well as we drove off the lot, and then it happened. At the first stoplight the most awful screech you will ever here came out of that jeep. So we turned around and drove back to the lot. I walked back into the office and asked why it sounds like they only replaced the pads and not the rotors when we agreed to the work being done on my paperwork. The salesman took the keys and went back to his boss's office. I waited a second and then followed, overhearing them talk about how they actually had not replaced my rotors, I assume to save a few bucks. The manager called down to their auto shop while I was standing in his office, mumbling like I wasn't ten feet away when the guy told him he should have replaced the rotors yesterday..... So he hangs up and asks me what I want to do, UUUUUHH how about you replace what you said you would replace so I can go home???? He sends us down to his shop and when I get there I had a great conversation with the mechanic about how he told the guy that morning that there was no way this jeep wouldn't be coming back, cause he told them not to replace my rotors.... and walla there I was. lesson learned, I have been warning everyone about this back woods car lot with the most slimy salesman in America. Before you buy anything here ask yourself if your ok helping people like this stay in business? I wish I could go back, but its not to late for you. And Now You Have Been Warned!!!

I had a review previously posted but it was somehow removed, if you look back in your records you can probably see where the calipers were replaced on the second trip down to the shop. No real need to contact anyone about it, just have better staff that doesn't try to sell people the legal min on one of the most important features...

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with an almost recent purchase from this dealership.

  1. I requested that my credit not be used to credit shop, as I had already received approval from Capital One. However, the dealership ran my credit 6 times.
  2. I reside 17.5 hours away from the dealership, so I had requested the salesperson send me videos pictures of the truck. I noticed significant damage to both the rear and front bumpers. The salesperson assured me that the price had been reduced to compensate for the damage, but this was incorrect. The truck is priced at market value according to many trusted sites , and the market does not consider the damage.
  3. I requested that a mechanic or body shop inspect the truck to determine if there was any frame damage. However, I never received a response from the dealership. I am not willing to travel to the dealership to purchase a truck with possible frame damage.
  4. I paid for a Carfax report myself. The truck was purchased in an auction in Canada, which is not unusual for used car dealerships to do. However, the dealership or private purchaser gets no prior information on a vehicle before the auction, as auctions do not disclose or provide information about vehicles for sale due to them not having information themselves they just auction repos for the most part. The Carfax report revealed two open recalls, including a braking issue recall and an engine calibration recall.
  5. Given the damage to the bumpers and the open recalls, I asked if the price was negotiable. There was a brief discussion between myself and the salesperson, but he assured me that he would speak with management about negotiations on the price. I never received a response.
  6. Prior to all this , all necessary paperwork was complete and ready for me to come sign , and I informed them that I would be available to fly down to the dealership on February 12, 2025. However, with no response to my inquiries regarding the recalls, possible frame damage, or the price negotiation, I have decided to cancel my flight. It would be irresponsible of me to travel to the dealership to purchase a vehicle with things that have not been addressed. If the dealership truly wanted to sell the truck , they would have worked with me to resolve the issues and or negotiated a fair price. I am sorry but I’m not the type to purchase a vehicle simply because I have approval for purchase. Maybe the next person with little used car experience will buy the truck and have decent luck with it. I just can’t take that chance. Best advice to future used car purchasers do your research ask questions it’s your right ask for negotiations on price it’s also your right nothing wrong with asking pull the carfax yourself It doesn’t take much to see if dealerships truly want to sell vehicles to consumers or just sell vehicles strictly for profit with no regard if the vehicle is in good shape or not. Low miles and decent year vehicles doesn’t always mean it’s a good reliable vehicle. DO...

People were nice and polite to my fiance and I. We were wanting to purchase a truck. We had an older car to trade in. We began the paperwork on a Thursday evening. We had to get proof of residency and bank statements The guy said he would get everything started as far as financing the next morning and give us a call. We waited all day. Each of us called them and asked for so and so, they said the salesman would get back with us or the finance person would give us a call, and I texted the salesman also. They never did call us back. So we drove to their car lot, and asked them what was going on. They put us with another salesman, and we waited for almost 2 hours to talk to the finance guy, to see what was.up with a truck loan. No one gave us an update. We just sat on their couch waiting. We are Senior Citizens and handicapped, and disabled, and retired. Which I hope they weren't discriminating against us for that. It is against the law to do that.. We waited so long that I went to our car because my blood sugar was dropping. I had given them an offer. They gave a counter offer on paper. Although people were polite. We became skeptical when no one called us that day. So we left and after seeing several bad reviews about their trucks. We decided to go to our bank for a loan, and go elsewhere to purchase a truck Beware of Big feeling shady characters in the offices. . Beware!!!!! They ran out credit over and over and did not mention to us that that's what they were going to do to get us financing. We will fix that by calling the credit bureau. Also the BBB. All we wanted was a call saying yes you're getting a loan on said truck, or no you're not getting a loan. Never did they say either yes or no...
