purchased a 2008 jeep wrangler from this dealership, the guy couldn't climb into the thing which started the buying process out very well. drove the jeep and it was fine, but the breaks were awful, it wouldn't even try to stop. After our test drive I told the salesman I would buy the jeep, but only if they replaced the break pads and rotors, as the pads were nearly gone, and the rotors had obvious pitting. the salesman proceeded to tell me what the legal minimum was for the break pads, and that they were riiiiiight at the min, so he legally didn't have to replace them. I told him that was neat information, but for me to buy this jeep I would want the break pads and rotors replaced. After he repeated the legal minimum, walked back to his boss's office 3 times and then told me no they wouldn't do it, I said fine and walked out. the salesman ran out into the parking lot screaming "fine we will do what you want, we will replace the breaks". For a place that from the reviews seems willing to work with you, I figure at this point any review over a 3 star is either a paid actor or fake account lol. So I go back in sign the paper work and they send the car to the shop, telling me it will be done the next day, (cause they took 8hr of fighting to agree to replace the very unsafe breaks). So whatever, I went home, and drove back out the next day. The car was ready and everyone was smiling and we grabbed the keys and hopped in. All was well as we drove off the lot, and then it happened. At the first stoplight the most awful screech you will ever here came out of that jeep. So we turned around and drove back to the lot. I walked back into the office and asked why it sounds like they only replaced the pads and not the rotors when we agreed to the work being done on my paperwork. The salesman took the keys and went back to his boss's office. I waited a second and then followed, overhearing them talk about how they actually had not replaced my rotors, I assume to save a few bucks. The manager called down to their auto shop while I was standing in his office, mumbling like I wasn't ten feet away when the guy told him he should have replaced the rotors yesterday..... So he hangs up and asks me what I want to do, UUUUUHH how about you replace what you said you would replace so I can go home???? He sends us down to his shop and when I get there I had a great conversation with the mechanic about how he told the guy that morning that there was no way this jeep wouldn't be coming back, cause he told them not to replace my rotors.... and walla there I was. lesson learned, I have been warning everyone about this back woods car lot with the most slimy salesman in America. Before you buy anything here ask yourself if your ok helping people like this stay in business? I wish I could go back, but its not to late for you. And Now You Have Been Warned!!!
I had a review previously posted but it was somehow removed, if you look back in your records you can probably see where the calipers were replaced on the second trip down to the shop. No real need to contact anyone about it, just have better staff that doesn't try to sell people the legal min on one of the most important features...
Read moreI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with an almost recent purchase from this dealership.
People were nice and polite to my fiance and I. We were wanting to purchase a truck. We had an older car to trade in. We began the paperwork on a Thursday evening. We had to get proof of residency and bank statements The guy said he would get everything started as far as financing the next morning and give us a call. We waited all day. Each of us called them and asked for so and so, they said the salesman would get back with us or the finance person would give us a call, and I texted the salesman also. They never did call us back. So we drove to their car lot, and asked them what was going on. They put us with another salesman, and we waited for almost 2 hours to talk to the finance guy, to see what was.up with a truck loan. No one gave us an update. We just sat on their couch waiting. We are Senior Citizens and handicapped, and disabled, and retired. Which I hope they weren't discriminating against us for that. It is against the law to do that.. We waited so long that I went to our car because my blood sugar was dropping. I had given them an offer. They gave a counter offer on paper. Although people were polite. We became skeptical when no one called us that day. So we left and after seeing several bad reviews about their trucks. We decided to go to our bank for a loan, and go elsewhere to purchase a truck Beware of Big feeling shady characters in the offices. . Beware!!!!! They ran out credit over and over and did not mention to us that that's what they were going to do to get us financing. We will fix that by calling the credit bureau. Also the BBB. All we wanted was a call saying yes you're getting a loan on said truck, or no you're not getting a loan. Never did they say either yes or no...
