Please!! reconsider choosing this dealership for a camper purchase. My wife and I "purchased" a zinger lite from the Bonne Terre dealership after a few day discussion about details of the purchase and financing. First of all I would warn anyone crazy enough to consider this dealership to make sure that they do not charge you a pre delivery inspection fee. (Nearly $1000). Completely ridiculous up charge that they will add if you do not catch. My wife and I did the inspection, signed papers, and brought the camper home on the 22nd of April. We immediately began purchasing items in preparation for the soonest possible trip as anyone would do. After 2 weeks my wife was alerted about an inquiry on her credit, and after immediately making calls to the finance company involved we learned that Legacy was continuing to apply for financing. We call the finance company on the paperwork we have and learn that the loan was rejected on the 17th due to an error in the application. In most cases an honest mistake. Not for Fred at Legacy. Fred failed to notify us that we didn't have financing on the camper for nearly 2 weeks! He also took it upon himself to continue running our credit in order to fix it without our knowledge (illegal practice). He let us pull it home and spend a large amount of money on camp reservations, an insurance policy, a 12,000 lb hitch, and everything you put in your first camper all while possessing it illegitimately on paper. It took me multiple tries to contact him regarding the issue. It took another 4 days for the owner to finally speak with me after multiple requests only to apologize for their mistake and tell me that they will remember it moving forward. The worst of this experience was telling my children that we weren't going camping, and tucking our tail in front of friends, family, and social media. We were left feeling humiliated because the deal was not done, the dealership wouldn't do whatever it took to correct their mess, and leaving us at a loss both financially and emotionally. We had a finance option that would allow us to keep the camper and chose against it mostly due to the incredible lack of professionalism from the dealership. Regardless of the situation, there is no excuse for the way this was handled by any dealership. The decision to tell them to come get the camper was made on Friday May 13th before their business opened at 9am. The camper sat on my driveway until Tuesday morning the following week when I had it towed at the dealers expense. The camper is a 2022 crossroads zinger lite zr270bh. Please do not let them tell you it is new because it isn't. Certificate of origin is attached. I hope this never happens to anyone especially first time buyers.

We purchased our first 5th wheel from this dealership from Dalton. Dalton was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help us find a certain model we wanted. We ended up spending more then we wanted on the RV but we were good with that because it's a nice model. So here's are problems with this dealership, none of this is on Dalton although he could have been more involved with our issues after the sale. The dealership says they charge $300 to "thoroughly' inspect their used RVs before the sale. Now mind you we paid over $50k for this RV. When we first selected this RV we found additional minor things to get fixed, lopsided doors, the bunk ladder was broke, we wanted the double sided tape taken off the walls. The day of delivery we started the final inspection and within 2 minutes we found obvious issues with the RV ( the awning was separated from the RV) There was also new damage to the fender skirting that their shop says was already there (Although we don't remember it when we first looked at it). We also purchased a new washer /dryer set that the dealership was to install prior to delivery. The dealership retained the RV for additional repairs and we rescheduled delivery. The day of delivery we took possession of the RV and during transport we had a blow out. There was no jack or tools to change the tire for the RV. Once we finally got the RV home we found more stuff wrong with the RV that should have been found during their $300 inspection. * There was still double stick tape on the walls, *the bathroom door was still off track* the washer leaked water because the hoses were NOT properly attached* the closet rod was not reattached after the washer and dryer were installed* the front door did NOT lock properly* the trash bin slide track was broke(which could have been fixed with just a screw)* the master toilet continuesly runs filling the toilet with water and it flooded the bathroom* the tank fill indicator LEDs do not work properly. *The black holding tanks were still full of sewage when we were attaching the drain lines, What a nasty mess. * The tires were dry rotted with flat spots. We also purchased a bug screen from their parts department, the woman wanted to change us $100.00 for a $13.00 part and had a complete nasty attitude when we questioned her about it. When we started the repairs on the RV , there was still trash , dust and dirt throughout the RV , it was apparent that it wasn't cleaned or it was half-ass cleaned prior to the sale. The replacement ladder for the bunkhouse was supposed to be mailed to our home and we have yet to receive it. I'm not sure what the $300 inspection was , but it was only worth$1.50 and a snickers bar.

When we first started looking at campers we started our journey at Optimum RV Bonne Terre. We first looked about 18 months ago and started working with Nate! When we bought our first camper, we bought it from somewhere else, this was a mistake, still sorry guys! When we decided to upgrade we knew where we were going to do so. Dalton showed us probably 50+ campers over multiple days, and Nate even called other Optimum dealers to look into other campers we were interested in. Needless to say we found our perfect camper! These guys are literally the best! We went from the most basic camper to a Grand Design Transcend with all the amenities we could want. Plus Remi has her own room! Once we went to pick it up Cody gave us the tour and Remi told him 45 times he’s so cute 😂. Remi got to help Brandon wash the camper before we took it home. Sarah got us hooked up with some extra things we wanted to add! Needless to say, we had a phenomenal experience here. They stuck with us even when we had no clue what we wanted. They helped us find our perfect camper. They also went above and beyond to make our daughter feel included in the process. If you’re looking to purchase one, go see our friends at Optimum!! I can guarantee you’ll have a great experience. We are so excited for all the adventures coming our way ❤️!

Go with your gut. This place screamed red flags from the get go. Very disorganized, poor communication, and un-called for fees. I fell in love with a camper and was whiling to look past all the red flags for this camper I loved. They gave me a "really good deal" on the camper of my dreams but failed to address or point out all of the potential issues with the camper. I waited another week for a lien release to come in. I had to call daily for updates. The day it finally came in I told them I was on the way to finish the deal -cash in hand....But I had to wait because Fred wasn't there... I was told time and time again that they go through everything thoroughly to make sure it all works. When I questioned the seals that were obviously damaged, I was told they only make sure things work mechanically -that anything else would be extra or not really their concern. I was redirected by Fred clarifying the deal was actually an "as is" sale. There was a $200 document fee, which I was ok with, however there was a $995 post delivery inspection fee that was supposed to cover the cost of cleaning, and preparing the camper to be delivered. I verified this was complete, then asked to check the camper. I was told to take pictures of any issues I find with the camper, 10 pictures, 5 bugs, and 2 potato chips later, I was advised that the cleaning part of the inspection actually hadn't been done..... Obviously. The service department was very friendly Brittany alone had such a good helpful attitude that made me want to come back and ignore red flags because she was really the only one I trusted. She was very knowledgeable and honest After telling her my concerns she went straight out side to fix the issue herself, which is attitude and motivation I can appreciate....She is the only person in that establishment that I felt I could genuinely trust. However the next call I had with Fred showed me the true standards of this company. I ran straight to Parkland RV in Park Hills and left 2 hours later with a fantastic deal on a very comparable camper that I was shown every nook and cranny of and left assured that I would have no imediate issues, leaks, or problems! I should have started in Park Hills I regret wasting so much time with such a fuss in Bonne Terre...
