I went in there knowing what I wanted based on the website. Showed to store manager and he said since it did not say in stock had to be ordered which was fine. He had me sit with a salesman who I showed what I wanted on my phone from the website. He said they had on the floor. Followed him and it was two stairs up. Kept checking the numbers and didn’t match. Chair wanted was gray. Looked like the beige one so he had me bring that one up. Again numbers didn’t match. Started walking back to his desk. He was ahead of me by at least several feet because he told me to bring the original one back on my phone. I was having trouble so looking down trying to do this I fell down those steps. He said I told you to watch the steps. He probably did but his back was towards and ahead of me. I was busy trying to bring up what I wanted on the phone because he 1) didn’t have a tablet that he could have brought it up initially when I showed him or 2) should have had it on the computer since I originally was at that desk expecting to order it based on what the manager said. I got myself up to a chair. He asked if I wanted water or ice which I said no. He disappeared in the back, didn’t come out with any water or ice so don’t know what happened to him. The manager who sat on the couch the entire time didn’t even ask how I was. When the salesman came back I said something about the manager because he did get up to take a call in the back. Salesman said manager had some health issues which I apologized about my negative attitude with him but I feel he could have at least asked me how I was since I was sitting at the desk crying. Bought the chair and warranty and left. He called later that night thought to check how I was feeling. Instead he called to say that floor model was the same chair and offered to sell that one to me. I asked at a discount and he said no. Asked him why I would buy a used chair for the same price as a new one. I gave 2 stars only because the size of the chair is what my mother wanted but the service I give a zero star. I also want a warranty book sent to me since I paid for the warranty because it was a power lift recliner and asked for the warranty that covered the mechanism. Give your salesman tablets so when someone shows them what they want they can bring it up instead of the customer doing...

Please go to Jaron's in Bordentown FIRST for your furniture needs for your home, apartment, condo, wherever you lay your head at night! Trust me I went through hell before I ended up at Jaron's on a Sunday Memorial Day weekend weary and thinking I would have to buy furniture used from secondary options like FB marketplace and others. So glad I stopped here before giving up! One of the most pleasant shopping experiences I've had in years. Larry was my salesman and from the moment I walked in the door to the end of my time there, not only had I found exactly the right furniture for my needs at an affordable price (better than all the other major furniture and outlet stores not even comparable!) but I felt like I made a friend in Larry. From beginning to end, I never felt like I was being pushed into making any decisions, felt like anyone was being "salesy", or felt confused or misled. He took the time to listen to what I am going through, what I am looking for, and helped me make the right choices without going over budget. Even at the end with the financials which is normally the scariest part of the shopping process, I felt calm and knew I hadn't overextended my budget and got everything I needed, and they could deliver everything the exact day I needed! I even found out I need a different type of mattress than I thought with their mattress testing area! It goes from hardest to softest on five levels, and you start wherever you think your mattress level you want is, and move left or right based on if you think you need a firmer or softer mattress. I thought I wanted a medium mattress and by the time I was done I realized as a side sleeper the softest mattress felt the best! Couldn't be happier with my choice and wish I had started here and not wasted my time other places, however I'm also glad I went through the other stores first, it made me appreciate Jaron's that much more! Read moreI had ordered a chair and a half back in April. I had called to see when it would be available before I made the purchase and was told about 6 weeks. Great that was a lot shorter time estimate than any other company was giving me. It got pushed back 4 times and I had enough after almost 6 months of waiting and still no guarantee of when I would actually receive it. Costumer service didn’t really try to keep me as a customer they offered me a refund immediately. Obviously my sale wasn’t worth much to them. I was approved for my refund but then I remembered the card I used to purchase the chair was no longer an active card due to a fraudulent charge a month earlier. When I called them back immediately after I remembered the accounting staff got very snippy that I didn’t remember and acted like it was all my fault. Life happens deal with it. They told me to contact my bank and it was the bank’s responsibility to find my money and this was pretty much not their problem. I gave it a few day and watched my account to see if the refund went through and it hadn’t so I called them again. The accounting staff was in a meeting and I was told that they would give me a call back after they were finished. Which is fine, I know I can’t always get through immediately. Then I never got a call back. Luckily I did get the refund to go through but it was filled with a lot of hassle, uncaring staff members, and unanswered questions.
