Vincent General Store — Local services in Bossier City

I’ve been a loyal customer of this store for years but today I simply spoke to their clerk and everything about her body language betrayed that she sees me as someone to be shunned and less than human.

Clearly I was meant to be denied equal dignity on the basis of what happened before I developed a central nervous system in the womb.

I cried when I got home and will never go back. Please allow me to apologize for the involuntary conditions of my birth.

Now lie about it as if I don’t know bigotry when I experience it.

If society planned on treating me this way for no reason, it would have been more humane to kill me at birth.

Have been using them since they opened their doors for most all our oriental foods shopping. A large selection of fresh, frozen, canned and dry goods are available. Miss "Irene" is the fulltime cashier, stock person, and "go to" person. She is a hard worker, customer friendly and the absolute best we have experienced since this store opened. Owner and clerk were very friendly. They had whole dried mung beans in stock so I can sprout my own. Also have shelled and split mung beans for dahl soup. Had baby bok choy in refrigerated area in back. Much better stocked than what I can get in Monroe / West Monroe (what's a mung bean? typical response) and only 1 store out of 7 regional grocery stores and 4 Small-Marts and 2 big Wally Marts have baby...
