A few weeks ago I woke up with a crook in my neck. I slept wrong. I was in so much pain and I could hardly turn my head. It was throbbing so intensely that I felt like it could turn into a migraine. I reached out to Aspen to see if she had any last-minute openings, luckily she did. She focused primarily on my neck, head and shoulders. Her hands knew exactly where to go, straight to the center of the pain. There were moments of great intensity and a few deep breaths as she worked to release tension in my tight muscles. When we were finished I felt really out of it, it was intense. But within an hour I could feel my muscles starting to soften and the pain beginning to subside. I went from thinking I had to cancel work and lay in bed all day to working a full day and feeling decent. The pain continued to lessen as the day progressed. I’m so grateful to have found Aspen. She is everything I could want and more - affordable, knowledgeable, able to provide relief, kind, & her skill is incomparable. She is also very mindful & careful around my medical devices. She was able to release a tight spot in my hip that has been tight for over ten years in one visit!! And when I had a massage during an autoimmune flare, I was able to feel human again afterward. During that session, I cried because of the amount of relief I was feeling.
