I’m trying not to be negative because the store was clean and the workers were very courteous. So I’ll stick with the facts. I stopped in for two common parts for existing RC vehicles that I already own. During this visit I found a clearly printed marked priced RC vehicle that was a decent price. It wasn’t an over the top great price but good enough to where I took the truck up to the sales counter and was going to make the purchase. After confirming they did not have my parts In stock, the sales rep confessed the price of the RC Truck was inaccurately labeled. I was not permitted to purchase the item at the labeled price. I would have still made the purchase if they would have at least discounted it for their mistake. I was offered an apology for the out of stock items and the mislabeled RC Vehicle, but I walked out of that store empty handed. It carries a wide selection of hobby items, such as various model kits, train kits, board games, many different card games and more. The layout makes it easy to find any of the supplies for whichever hobby you're interested in. If you're looking for cards, the staff are very helpful and will find it for you in their extensive collection. As for events and activities, this store often hosts many different games depending on the weekday, so there is something for everyone. Small Tournaments are also held here for any Magic or Pokemon card players who are wanting to try out their deck in a more competitive setting, however, it is worth mentioning that the monitoring during these small events is somewhat subpar due to how busy it can get. Every time I set foot in Hobbytown, I feel that I am always welcome. The staff are always helpful in getting me what I need, whether it be a book, model, board game, etc. If they don't have a certain product that I want, they can order it for me. They also host game meets for people who play Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, etc. On top of all this, they provide good tech support and repair capabilities when it comes to r/c vehicles.
