Dollar General — Local services in Branchville

This rating is a reflection of the services offered at this location and NOT the employees. This store is the retail hub of our community and the only store of its kind without driving 30 minutes in any direction. It badly needs more attention and to be brought up to date with technology. There's always a long line and the employees cannot keep up with stocking the shelves and be at their registers when there's virtually little time between patrons.

I asked about checking out via the app but Holly, the manager, said they didn't have the capability to do so. Why does corporate bother having the app if you're not going to utilize it's full potential? Your employees are stretched too thin and it is frustrating your customers who don't have all day to pick up 2 or 3 items.

Please bring Branchville back to...

Wish there was a no star option. No items in stock. Messy store. Broken cracked door. Seriously can't believe there is a note on door to open gentley? Um how about fix it before someone ends up cut from the glass. Bought headphones and only one side worked so had to return then as soon as I left. Cashier unfriendly and rude. Yeah.. smfh won't return. Was only store in the town as to the only reason I stopped and looking from the appreance I wish I wouldn't have. This has to be the worst one...

Everytime my husband or I go to this store, the employees are super rude!!!!! Many times there's a line and no cashier. Then when they are done smoking they come to check us out with a horrible attitude!!! Unbelievable!!! We now will go to Family Dollar up the road. Sad. They seriously need some...
