This is a little hidden gem located in the old railroad depot in Branchville. The food was absolutely fantastic. We had a large party and no one was disappointed in anything that was ordered, or the service.
I had been in contact with the owner months in advance for our plans to visit. They opened a little early to accommodate our group so we could be in and out before the main rush came at 6pm. I cannot say enough about this little place. We all rode from Charleston to Branchville for dinner. It was truly worth the trip as this is a downtown Charleston type of dinner, with much less headaches to access.
Plan to arrive early to get in line. They have the Branchville Railroad & Shrine Museum attached and it opens at 5:30pm.    Read moreWe were really disappointed with the meal, this is what the shrimp and grits looks like if you get it for carryout, not a lot of food considering what they charge for the shrimp and grits, and it was put in a cardboard container, that soaked up all the water out of the grits and got it so wet it wet the bottom of the bag it was in, after a 15 minute drive home, the grits was completely scaled over and hard in the bottom and just not fit to eat, it should have been in a styrofoam tray. Also got a chicken tender kids meal, they did put that in a styrofoam tray, but it should have put some wax paper or tinfall under it, the chicken was so hot it melted through the styrofoam and gave it a yucky taste, we were really disappointed in the quantity and quality...
