Pedal Barn Bike Shop should be the ONLY place to take your bike in for repairs. Family owned and operated. Their customer service is EXCELLENT.
I brought my son’s Mongoose mountain bike in with no appointment to get his front brakes fixed. Mike, who I believe is the owner and lead mechanic, looked at the bike and was able to diagnose the issue in minutes. He made several adjustments and just like that, he fixed the front brakes.
As I pulled out my debit card, He said, “This one is on the house.” Mind you, his shop is full of elite bikes pending repairs. To say they’re busy is an understatement.
Days prior to this visit, I took my son’s bike to a local bike shop, only to be denied because his bike is a “family bike”. Meaning, only elite bikes are priority and worth their time. I left that shop feeling discriminated and defeated.
Mike not only took my son’s bike in with no notice, but he was able to fix it within minutes and...AT NO CHARGE. He is an absolute blessing to the biking community and his love for bikes shows in his craft.
Mike, if you read this, your nice gesture has created a new patron for life. I live 40 minutes away from your shop but that doesn’t matter. I WILL be bringing all of my bikes in from now on.
THANK YOU! Because of you, my 9 year old son and I can bike ride...
Read moreI had a flat bicycle tire and needed a quick and affordable fix. I searched online and called several bike shops and they had the best price and also they open hours earlier than any other bike shop.
They were easy to find and had lots of parking. They just opened summer of 2018 but had a lot in stock. The crew is extremely friendly and informative. They gave me great tips on removing the rust off my bike and they didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary services or gear.
They don’t just do maintenance and repairs; they also sell higher end bikes. There is a biking trail near by which makes this place a great stop for energy bars, water, repairs, maintenance, or to buy your next bike.
The owner, Robert, just went above and beyond to make sure I received great service, and I couldn’t be more appreciative, especially since I’ve never taken any bikes in for service before. The owner is a firefighter and also bikes regularly, so he’s knowledgeable with bikes and trustworthy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Definitely recommend this place...
Read moreI would much rather make the drive to go to Pedal Barn than to go to the nearest bike shop. They're knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help anyone with their bike. I only had minor repairs done on my kid's bike and they absolutely could've charged me for it. I would've been glad to pay but they sent me off with a Merry Christmas with no charge! They've got a a new life long customer in me and it isn't because they didn't charge me and it isn't like I'm hoping to get free services in the future. It's the fact that they know what they're doing, they have awesome service, and they just genuinely want to help you and encourage you to take part in the biking community. PEDAL BARN IS THE...
