Roto Rooter of the High Country — Local services in Breckenridge

We’d been having a slow drain in the basement shower and wanted to make sure the pipes were clear before any bigger issues developed. I called Snowbridge Inc. / Roto-Rooter of the High Country for service and was quoted $895 for a two-hour job including hydro-jetting, snaking, and camera inspection. I knew it was pricey but worth it for the peace of mind of having our 50-year-old lines cleaned and inspected.

When the technician arrived, he only snaked about 12 inches—no hydro-jetting or camera work. The company said after the fact that they charge the same rate regardless of equipment used, but I was expecting them to clear, clean, and inspect the line further down—not just remove a shallow clog near the drain, especially after being told the service included hydro-jetting and a camera inspection.

I’m disappointed that we didn’t get the service we wanted, and I’m disappointed that they continue to insist that we pay for the service we never received.

There are plenty of other companies in the area that offer...

Really great people! I was visiting friends in Breckenridge and while vacationing at their house, we had problems with the sewer line. We weren't really sure what it was at first of course, but they sure figured it out and got us out of a jam. (Haha) They showed up when they said they would, charged me what they quoted, and really helped me out... but I think it was their great attitude and kindness that did it for me. Having been back home now, and looking back, I am still left with a great impression. Wow! Can't say enough good about them!...

Ken knows his stuff! We had what we think was a frozen line coming into the condo building. Snow Bridge fit us into their busy schedule and spent the greater part of the day searching, jetting, etc. without funding the problem. They returned a few days later with pipe and tools trying everything possible (our building is 40 years old and has a spring as the water source). The problem was discovered and water was restored.
