If asked to describe this place in one word, I'd have to think for a minute because it would be more accurate to describe it in four words... "Little to no money needed". I don't know if it was black Friday or what, or maybe Mexican Monday, but certainly not White Wednesday because nothing was full price. They had loaves of bread on sale for buy one get a package of steaks, eggs, sausage, soda, all the condiments, fresh produce, cereal, pancake mix, and toilet paper for free. It was the greatest thing I've ever been involved in, well besides when my ancestors pet giraffe caught a ride on Noah's magical zoo boat. Can you believe of all the giraffes, they picked "shorty" , that was the name of the giraffe, although he did not understand the English language. In Hebrew shorty means long neck and really tall . He is no longer with us, but if he was, I bet United supermarket would let him be their mascot. That's the kind of folks that run this...

It’s small and has fewer options by a lot, and you may not be able to find every item or brand you’re looking for. However, the staff is helpful and friendly, and given the size of the town, the store has a pretty solid selection of all the essentials. The prices tend to be a little higher than Walmart (in town) or grocery stores (in the city), but not by much. Cashiers, baggers, and managers are very sweet, and don’t seem annoyed by requests for help, and they offer to help you out to your car with your groceries. I stop here every time I am in town to visit my family. It’s always a...
Read moreI have always heard that United was known for their hospitality across Texas. Not so I’m Breckenridge Tx. We are celebrating our daughters 40th bday and went in there for a cake. The girl at the desk behind the bakery counter never lifter her head. The other 2 ladies acted like they didn’t know anything other than that’s all they have. I get that this is a small town but when someone comes in and asks for help, just do your job. Finially the lady at the desk was asked if she knew how to put happy bday on a cake. Ladies you work in the bakery!!! You all should be able to do this task. To say the least this cake makes me sad… It looks like a 2 yr old write happy 40th on it. On a good point the cashier that checked us out said have a good day!!! Breckenridge Tex you need...
