I had a bad experience at the True North gas station on East Market Street in Warren, OH. I was using the company's carwash on February 23rd and the Exit door wouldn't open. I had to crawl out between my door and a metal beam in order to push an Emergency release button to get it opened. Prior to getting out I put my car in "reverse" thinking it might open it. It was then I heard a bang an later discovered my trunk was damaged. I reported the bad experience I endured to the cashier and he had me write down my name and number so he could give it to his manager. After waiting 2 days and not hearing from her I went to the store. The manager said "she did all she could do." Therefore, I drove to the headquarters only to find out "they never received an incident report." I received a letter from the company's insurance company informing me "there is no proof it happened at that carwash." I never thought it would be necessary to take pictures of my car before using a carwash. The store's cameras apparently weren't working. What a conquendance? I spoke to another customer who said "she had a bad experience at the same carwash. When she was Exiting the door came down on the hood of her car and then on the roof. This lead to sparks coming out from under the hood. I suggest if you want your vehicle washed go to a Mod carwash located in your area. It cost $20 monthly and it instills a daily carwash, including bug cleaner, free air fresheners, use of vacuum cleaners, mat cleaners, rags to dry the vehicles, and Windex. They also have humans at the entrance of the carwash who guide people to the conveyor belt. They also have a license plate reader so you can simply pull up to the gate and it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToxic culture. They expect above and beyond out of their employees, but don't want to pay top of the line wages. Managers are required to work 45 hour weeks or more (and get paid for 40). If your store isn't "fully staffed" then you aren't allowed to use PTO. Took away sick time and lumped it in with vacation time at a loss of available time. Took away milage coverage under the guise of a "raise," which was also a loss. Force managers to cover when no one else will at stores that aren't even their own at a moment's notice. Have no regard for their employees and then wonder why morale is so low. Don't pay loyal employees fairly when the people who are coming in keep getting more and more money to walk through the door. Equipment constantly breaks and has ongoing technical issues. This is the place for you if you want to endure nothing but hassles and problems as part of your daily work routine. As a manager, you can't even go to the next town over during the weekend without getting chewed out by upper management. They expect you to have no life outside of the gas station. You can't plan anything in your own life, because inevitably, something will come up and they will tell you to go cover it, (even if it's not at your store). I've had to repeatedly cancel vacations, birthday celebrations, time with my child, special occasions...just so Truenorth...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn Monday, June 2, 2025, I stopped at the Wittenburg location off of Hwy 29. I filled up my vehicle and went in to use the restroom. The Menās bathroom was closed at noon, for cleaning. Three young men were going to use the Menās room, but the door was blocked and a sign posted. I went into the ladies room. One stall has been, āout of serviceā for about three weeks. So, there were only two stall available, both occupied. The handicap stall has being used by a lady on crutches. There were four other ladies, including myself, waiting their turn. When I went to wash my hands after using the Handicapped stall, there was a MAN, A MAN, washing his hands - IN THE LADIES BATHROOM. He had been in the stall next to me. I was horrified, appalled & disgusted. I called and spoke to the alleged manager, who said, he told the man to use the ladies bathroom. He said there was NO ONE in the bathroom, which is a LIE. There was myself, the lady on crutches, a lady behind me and two waiting outside the door. Why is this allowed?? There was no sign, saying there COULD BE MEN in the Ladies Bathroom. No one telling us there was a man in the bathroom. This is so, so, so, wrong! I shudder to think if there had been a little girl in there? I am reporting this to the Police! WHAT exactly is your policy on Men in the...
