The fam & I went here about a week or so ago, & i must say, we were all highly disappointed & for different reasons... 1st off, the only ways to pay the entrance fee are: cash, check, or venmo... Whatever happened to being able to pay by debit, or via credit card?! I know, it's because they're being cheap and don't want to pay the small service fee... So, since we didn't have enough cash on us, nor our checkbook, we inconveniently had to download venmo 🙄... Once we got the entrance fee settled (15$ per person over 3 yrs old), we finally were able to make it into the farm....Now mind you, this isn't the 1st time we've been here before, however, I must say, it will be the last time my family & I go here... For whatever reason(s) most of the farm animals that are usually here, we're not... All we were able to view was: a donkey, 1 bull, several chickens & roosters, 1-2 goats, & bees... No more petting zoo... Also, all they have are basically the same exact games they set up yr after yr... Nothing new at all, almost as if we were in the movie, Groundhog Day... When we went this time, they didn't have the little general store open. They didn't have the honey & bees wax vendors, no food trucks, music or any other entertainment like they'vehad in yrs past...I feel like the whole experience for the price you pay, for what I got, was quite anticlimactic, bland & basic... The only reasons I gave this place 2 🌟 was because of the maze & the 🎃 were full and round... Otherwise, it would've been 1 star. The fam & I will 💯 find another pumpkin patch worth our time &...
Read moreBoy is this place worth the visit. We did a HowAboutWe deal and got first-class treatment. There are large orchids to browse filled with delicious, off-the-tree tastes... incredibly juicy. The garden stand in the front has a variety of fresh veggies and fruits and reasonable prices. But some of my favorite parts of this journey were the personal tours of the berries and tomatoes (mmm... some of the best around) picking areas but my most favorite was making an herbal bouquet.
The staff and owners are super nice. They do events here on occasion. It's a huge property and definitely a nice excuse to get out of the city.
There's even a farm with a wide selection of chickens, donkeys, peacocks, bunnies and more.
If you like to pick your own delicious fruit, this is the place for you. My only regret is that produce doesn't last a long time, so we had to limit what to bring home.
Go! Enjoy! Even outside of Halloween. We went in early July, early afternoon on a Sunday. It was hot (about 100F) but it was fairly empty too. Just bring a big hat, sunblock, bug spray, and definitely water.
Be okay with...
Read moreI've gotta say it was a real TO-DO. From farm fresh ornamentals and holiday decor to Ye Ole Farm details, a petting zoo and more. Youre delighted with a family friendly experience thats you know... alright. Yeah its alright. Not bad. For $11 entrance fee you get a ticket which allows you access to all activities or exhibits and a pumpkin of your choice from the pumpkin patch. Pack a lunch and enjoy yourselves under the trees and in the shade at a picnic table or grab a bite from the rotation of food truck vendors that frequent the lot. But check the weather first as we went on the hottest day of a heatwave in the middle of the day. The earliest it opens is the best time to go and I'm not sure what time they close but right before sunset would also be a great time to go. Make sure you take your allergy medication for the hay fever sufferers in your party as the pollen, dust and general allergens are both...
