A sample expression of the museum is a farmer museum. The building was built in 19 century, +140 years old and it is very well maintained. This is a wonderful way to learn about the east bay farms and ranches. The docents are kind, warm and very knowledgeable. They pay special attention towards the children, making sure they have a fun and exciting time while learning the history of the area. The school house is a favorite. The restored seats and desks show the time and love the staff puts into making sure the children get a real feel for the past...

Absolutely amazing place...I cannot explain the real information the kids took away from such a dedicated and knowledgable group of people! They learned about real classroom life in the early 1900s, they made butter, they made their own rag doll, and they learned about chores and helping out around the house.
