The STRATosphere — Local services in Brentwood

I purchased a 2015 Gibson Les Paul body and all the parts from Stratosphere and the guitar had two small nicks that were not shown in the pictures when I purchased it. The family at Stratosphere ended up responding quickly and making sure I was happy by offering multiple options to resolve the issue. I ended up keeping the guitar because the damage is very minor and its a great guitar. I went from very unhappy to happy and impressed because everything was taken care of by stratosphere quickly and with class. I wouldn't say I loved it like the google review offers because of the circumstances, but in the end I personally think they deserve the best rating. I left a bad review at first and I decided to change it after the conversation I had with Matt and Christine from Stratosphere. They were really nice when at first I was rude and out of line. They still communicated after I made things tough on them. I will continue to buy guitars from them and if they were able to keep me happy I'm sure any new customer will be happy with...

I have done business with Matt & Christine @ Stratosphere on several occasions.Very nice folks who seem honest and sell quality parts. Excellent quality. Why a 3-star rating? Because communication with them is poor. Email only, and you cannot expect a quick reply (at least 1 business day it seems, sometimes longer). No phone contact. That would be Ok if they responded to emails quickly, but in my experience they do not. That is VERY frustrating at times, and IMO, poor business practice. Your order status will stay in limbo until your order is actually shipped, which can take several days.

I imagine they lose a Lot of business due to this, because when people are unsure of a product, and have questions, they will buy from whoever gives them answers FIRST. Guys, find a way to improve in this area. You are good people and I really want to buy from you, but the communication issue makes me look elsewhere a lot. Bought this Gibson Les Paul Standard from the Stratosphere and i, like most people, get a little sketchy when it comes to online purchases over $1000. I had purchased parts from them before and had always been pleased with the quality and condition of the items i had received. I'm a DIY musician, so i have loads of guitar parts in my studio, so i took the leap and purchased a Gibson Les Paul Standard. Purchased, got confirmation, arrived in 6 days from NH to Southern CA. Guitar was exactly as described. Mint condition. Beautiful. It was just that simple. I will NOT buy guitars online from ANYONE else. You may find one slightly cheaper, but i will pay a couple more bucks for peace of mind and the confidence in knowing that my purchase is legit. Oh, almost forgot.
