Zach did a superb job replacing an ottoman slipcover for me. He made a new one from scratch -- the fabric is exactly like the original one and the fit is perfect! I was so frustrated with the replacement that the original manufacturer, Pottery Barn, sent me. It was way too big, and I learned that they no longer made the same size ottoman any longer and so I had to send it back. I did a search for local upholsterers and was pleasantly surprised to find Bridgeton Hill so close to where I live in the country. I wasn't very confident that anyone would want to make an entirely new slipcover, so I was thrilled and relieved that Zach would do this. The turnaround time was amazingly quick, particularly since the slipcover has pleats and piping that requires a lot of work and attention to detail. I couldn't be happier with the final product. Plus, Zach is a really nice guy who is very easy to work with. ...
Read moreWe started working with Zach at Bridgeton Hill a few months ago...and he's done a few pieces for us already. The first project was re-doing a 15+ year old synthetic leather ottoman that was starting to delaminate in a few areas. Zach consulted on a suitable replacement fabric and did an amazing job on this somewhat uniquely shaped piece. My wife and I feel that it is literally better than new.
The second project involved making replacement cushions for some outdoor furniture. Again, Zach was very helpful in directing us toward suitable fabrics for the application. These pieces turned out great as well — Zach even added some foam to the inserts of one set of cushions to help provide more support.
We plan to do at least one more project with him later in the year.
Highly recommended and extremely trustworthy, with accurate estimates and fair pricing. We've found our upholstery...
Read moreI don’t know where to begin...For 40+ years I’ve been trying to find a reproduction of the original fabric on a large wingback chair which once belonged to my grandparents. Finally discovered it in England. It has a very large (46”) repeat which makes the task of reupholstering MUCH more difficult. I knew that I could only entrust it to an artist. Zach not only did a superb job visually, (he.matched flowers, birds and branches so well that they follow each other from one place to another as though they were one continuous painting), but he also took the chair (circa 1830) apart and rebuilt it structurally. If I can figure out how to get a photo on to this page, you will see what I mean. Thank you Zach. You...
