I have really bad experience going to Niagara in BRIGHAM UTAH. This was my first time Going to this place. I checked in at the front gate through the telecomm and the clerk attending on the other side was so RUDE and had major attitude. Initially i waited 30 mins at the front gate and after getting no response I called corporate. Corporate offices transferred me to this clerk. Clerk still told me to wait. After waiting another 10 mins she replied asking for my pickup number. After providing the pick number she intentionally asked for it 5 more times and told me this picked number does not match. So I called my broker told him pick number does not work. After waiting another 10 mins she replied asking for pick number again. Gave her the same pick up number and got a door. There was nothing wrong with the pick number I provided in the first place. The clerk played the game with me and wasted my tine. Before entering the gate I asked for the simple instructions of what to do, do I need to get out of the truck? Where would I can get the paperwork after my load is done etc.. She replied with an attitude. Go to your door back up slide your tandems and open the door. Again that is not what I asked. I specifically asked for paperwork. So I went inside the warehouse backed into the dock and asked one of the yard hustlers. He was kind enough to tell after my load was done how I can get my paperwork. If you come to this place be prepared and ask for her name and report her...
Read moreLoaded at Niagara recently; 0700 load time. I arrived at the entry and checked in with the nice lady on the intercom and went right to my door. I told her it was my first time so go easy on me :-) and she did... she told me to wait after loading and they would call me, which they did about 15 minutes after I got a green light. It was a different lady who called and said I was loaded and to proceed to the exit for my paperwork. Loading was uneventful and once they called I closed my doors and went to the checkout. Enter some data on the screen and the printer spits out two copies of your BOL, and down the road you go. It was no problem at all in my experience. Plenty of room to back into your dock. As others have stated I did not see ANY sort of porta-potty or restroom. In this day and age if you aren't packing a luggable loo or other restroom solution, well... shame on you. The luggable Loo works just fine in a pinch. Just the way it is. Anyhow, hope this helps. ...
Read moreThis facility loads with robot forklifts. Very straight forward. You use the QR CODE to check in then you’ll get a pick up number on your phone then you drive up to the computer and enter order number. I showed up 9 hours early for my appointment and got a door right away. Reefers be mindfull. Try not load up with full tank of diesel in truck because it is heavy. 45000k plus. I honestly don’t think they will adjust weight. Also you need to slide axles back and be very centered for the sensors to read and load you. Then when you get the green light you are good to close up doors and head towards the exit and check out at the computer then it will print BOLS and you’ll get a seal to input in kiosk prior to checking out. But again reefers haul at night....
