I am extremely disappointed and angry at how Lulu’s handled a situation that I witnessed at the chili fest. I witnessed a fight between a couple and a mother with her three small children over a table. The mother with the three children had been waiting for a table and got one when people who were sitting there previously got up and told her to take their table. Before she could sit down a random lady came and put her stuff down despite the previous people told them they were giving it to the mother. The mother tried to calmly tell the lady multiple times that they had been waiting and were sitting here and the lady got very angry and threw her lemonade on the mother which is ASSULT and called her very very bad names in front of the mothers children which was making them upset. The lady then became even more angry and kept yelling to the mother to hit her, which the mother didn’t do as her children were there. The lady who started, escalated, and ASSULTED the mother did not get kicked out and was allowed to continue about her day. They let this woman who is unhinged go about her day and punished the mother by completely disregarding what happened and victim blamed!! The police officer completely missed the mark and did NOT do his job either. Multiple people witnessed what happened and try to tell them but they did not want to hear it. SHAME ON YOU LULU’s for not stepping up and handling the...
Read moreI recently visited Lulu’s Farm Roadside Market and was blown away by the experience. The market is impeccably clean, with ample parking available, making it convenient for customers. What stood out to me the most was the wide variety of vintage treats and homemade baked goods they offer. Their selection of seasonings, baking options, and unique meats like alligator brats and quail eggs really impressed me.
My husband, a barbecue enthusiast, was thrilled with the assortment of smoker accessories and smokers available at the market. He particularly loved the variety of pellets, including his favorite brand, Lumber Jack, as well as their own special blend.
A delightful surprise was the selection of frozen green chili, fresh tortillas, and of course, the delicious pies they had on offer. Additionally, the outside gardening accessories and planter statues were a nice touch, and we are already planning to return for gifts as the weather warms up.
We are looking forward to future visits to Lulu’s Farm Roadside Market to explore the fresh produce that spring and summer will bring. This market has quickly become a favorite spot for us, and we can't wait to see what other treasures we discover on our next visit. Highly...
Read moreWe have been traveling to Lulu's for several years and usually have good luck. This year I asked my daughter to purchase a bushel of fresh Hatch Chile to bring to us on the western slope so we could roast them. She bought them on Thursday and was at our home on Friday. We went to roast them on Saturday and found that the top layer was nice but once you got past it, the chiles were broken and sliced into pieces. They were hard to roast and peel and by Sunday, they were getting moldy. I called on Sunday and was told that they could replace them but I am 300 miles away. The lady said that I should speak with Andrew yet he never called me back. I called again and this person said that she would put a note on the owner's desk....... no call. I even told her that some of the chilies were fine and I was only looking to get a partial refund. Well, I gave it two more days and decided that with all the nice farmer's markets popping up around the Denver area, there must be a better choice than Lulu's. We are sadly...
