The Big Red Apple Shed — Local services in Bristol

My experience at the famous Appleshed was not what I was expecting. Ever heard the ole saying dont judge a book by its cover? Let me elaborate...After my arrival to the shed i was excited and anxious because i was finally here. Well i noticed that its real busy around the afternoon hours which is expected. But what I didn't expect was to be accused of shoplifting candy? Due to my appearance, tattoos and piercings, and what not. I was confused and caught off gaurd upon returning to my vehicle only to have an employee run out behind me to question me. "Sir, A customer said that you didnt pay for the candy" "I can call the cops and we can check camera footage" me: With all due respect that would be unnecessary because i did not and do not steal." Now imo that does not make a bit of sense to go off what another customer reported. I just feel like i was judged by the place as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. Not only was my experience terrible there. They also have terrible parking. If you have tattoos or piercings i would recommend holding your hands above your head at all times while browsing the store. You will be judged and accused of such awful allegations. I will not be returning to the shed whatsoever. One bad apple can ruin the whole tree. Thanks Appleshed your store is beautiful and nice looking on the inside and out. But your integrity and respect for customers needs to be brought to the light. Hope this helps anyone and everyone who has or had the same...

This is an incredible place! Everything you find here is of the highest quality. It really goes to show how much love Joseph and his family are putting into providing the best products to this community. The flowers we bought from here in early spring bloomed and grew into the most beautiful flowers that we have ever purchased from anywhere. I will have to try and remember to go take pictures in the daytime and come back and post them for you to see here because they are big and beautiful! They have a large selection of super fresh produce that you just have to come see for yourself. It’s so nice to see some local meats from around here made available as well. I love seeing local farmers supporting each other like this in order to feed us and our families. The pumpkin and fall selection is unbelievable. The variety of pumpkins that they had today was just incredible. We purchased some fall flowers for our back porch decor as well as 6 of the prettiest and coolest pumpkins we have ever seen, no joke. The staff are always very kind and helpful. I love how they are always such gentleman in helping my wife and daughter pick out the heavy stuff and get it loaded into their car when I’m not there to help. This place is a must, I...

It was my first visit & I stopped with a friend over lunch. The plants in the greenhouse section were blooming profusely & appeared healthy. I was more interested in the produce & spent most of my time inside. I purchased a gorgeous yellow bell pepper, a small head of cabbage, an heirloom tomato that was absolutely delicious, a few red potatoes to boil, a pecan log which reminded me of being a kid & a container of strawberries. I was happy with everything except the strawberries - thus only 4 stars. They were the most expensive item I purchased & for sure, a luxury item. Unfortunately, below the top level lurked several moldy berries & even though the strawberries looked amazing, they were not very flavorful & not sweet at all. I was extremely disappointed in them. I would return to this market - I wouldn't purchase...
