My family and I went tonight for Dinner and the service was horrible. The girl taking our order was nice, but she got my order wrong when I asked for onion rings instead of fries. It came to the table with fries and I kindly asked if I could get onion rings since that is what I ordered. She comes back a few minutes later and says I didn't order the onion rings (and shows me the recipe) and that she can ring up some onion rings for me.
The only reason they were not on the recipe is cashier error. I asked for onion rings twice. I'm not as upset with her as I am the manager that was on duty. I've never known a restaurant ever to do that. Why can't they just say ok, our mistake and give me the onion rings. Didn't even eat the fries because I don't like their fries. I would have given the fries back. The funny thing is, they rang an entire sandwich up wrong and remade it at no charge for my sister in law but they wouldn't even give me onion rings (that I had requested) in exchange for the fries that I didn't even want.
They close at 10 and we were there until around 10:10 because we have kids and we were trying to get them all cleaned up. We were not just hanging around to be annoyingly. Welll, right at 10pm struck, the cook was out intentionally literally sweeping under our feet and under our kids high chairs. He didn't even say excuse me or ask if he could get right up on us like that. It was extremely rude! I was excited to have a DQ closer to us but I'll never go back, ever. The staff are rude.
Im usually pretty chill about things like this. If it would have just been the onion ring thing, I'd probably be okay, but the guy just coming up and sweeping literally under our feet was like the icing on the cake.
If I could leave -10 stars, I would. I know you guys probably hate your job, but you can atleast be respectful to your customers. I've work quite a few fast food jobs and I've never been told it is okay to make a customer pay for something they literally had already asked for and YOU messed up. Or have I ever known it to be acceptable to sweep under customers feet and clean as they are trying to eat, or gather their kids ect..

Unfortunately, some of the employees are not particularly efficient. On my most recent visit, the cheeseburger I received had mustard on it after I requested no mustard. The cashier apologized & said she had neglected to note that on the order. She washed her hands & went to the back to assemble the burger & pop it in the microwave. I was a little surprised the entire assembled burger was placed in the microwave - particularly since the bun became hard. She proceeded to put drink cups upside down on the sundaes. I told her that they would leek. She said “no they won’t!” when I got home they had melted all over my car seat.
