I'm a travel nurse, traveling from Cleveland, Ohio to Seattle, Washington and I was so pleasantly surprised to find an IGA store on my trip. For almost 6 years I worked at a little IGA store in the small town where I grew up while I was in highschool and during college. So I'm partial to little family owned supermarkets. This store in particular is exactly what I anticipated. Small store, plenty of grocery offerings, plenty of choices for the community and a pharmacy which I've found to be kinda rare for IGAs. Prices are reasonable and there's a decent selection of frozen foods, dairy and even a little produce section. The store's inside appearance is definitely dated and some of the coolers are dated as well but grocery store margins are razor thin and I certainly know if the appliance is still working or if the floor isn't falling apart, there's no need to just go get another one. I drove through many rural MT towns leading up to and after Broadus and I'm glad the community has something to rely on and doesn't HAVE to drive 20-30+ miles for a Walmart. Read moreAbsolutely Great 👍 grocery store.. Employees are super nice and gotta love the Chester's Chicken inside with all kinds of other foods besides just Chicken. But the Chicken was Super Fresh and Juicy.. and you can not beat a handful of Potato Wedges for $1.00. They are amazing and fresh also. We have found our new place to eat when we are passing thru broadus from now on. So glad Cashway Cafe had their CLOSED SIGN UP on the door and refused us service 🙌 an hour before closing and said they were closed. We wouldn't have found this diamond in the rough.. Absolutely great food and alot cheaper than other places I've found in Broadus You can get 2 Pieces of Dark Meat Chicken on the Bone with a handful of Potato Wedges for only $3.59 and My husband got 2 pieces of White Meat Chicken With Potato Wedges for only $3.69 Awesome 👌 🆒️. I give you 5...
Read moreEveryone that works at this store is so nice. The only problems are lots of short dated items and food that is not being kept at the correct temperature. I have been in this store multiple times where the freezers are off and you can really tell with the frozen food. The frozen garlic bread is one solid brick after thawing and refreezing multiple times. Ice crystals on everything, semi solid ice cream and gooey, iced over popsicles. If you want ice cream or popsicles try The Corner Store, the rest of it is going to be a drive, which is why they do what they do - they are only...
