Exhausted after being on a 27 hour drive, we were delighted to find this sweet little pizza shop to stop at. Everything was amazing, from the staff to the food, we had zero complaints. We didn't find out until we were finished with our meal that they didn't take cards and there wasn't an ATM near by. Still the staff was extremely accommodating and allowed us to take an IOU to which we were extremely grateful for. However, some how in our travels we lost our receipt, so once we got home we were unable to pay. Not knowing that area well (or remembering the name of the town) there wasn't a lot we could do. We recently figured out it was this restuarant and called to pay. I explained our situation to the gal on the phone and she was extremely rude. She asked me why our iou hadn't been paid yet and asked me if I thought they might like to be paid. Of course, I know they did a generous thing and I was calling to pay it. Hopefully this was just a bad day because this place really was wonderful. Give it a try,...
Read moreWe were passing through this part of Montana and looking for something to eat. The Google reviews looked good for this place. We got there at 3:50. They opened at 4:00. We were the only customers there. We ordered an Italian pizza without mushrooms and waited about 20 minutes for the pizza to be ready. They have a big assortment of sodas in cans. I got a Squirt (hadn’t had one it years) & hubby got a cherry coke. The pizza was hot and delicious. The crust was very unique in that it was kind of thick but it was not hard or crunchy. It had a really good texture and taste. If you are in the area, be sure to stop by if you want some great pizza. Also, they do not take plastic. They only take paper money, checks, or an IOU. We told them we were from out of town and they said it didn’t matter, they would take an IOU from anyone. They could send you a bill and you could send them a check. You don’t see that much...
Read moreWe stopped on a whim, on our way from Custer’s Last Stand back to the Black Hills - one of the best parts of our trip from Iowa! We ordered the hillbilly pizza on their recommendation - they didn’t steer us wrong! It was a 40 minute wait, but we were hungry, and ended up being pretty well entertained. Everyone that came in to order or pick up pizza knew everyone that stopped in. And almost everyone at least said hi & asked what brought us to town & where we were from. Most entertaining was Laney, a young local gal that could talk ranching or weather or anything else with anyone that came in! The pizza was great, crust was perfect - thick & a little crispy. We did have to switch drivers to eat it or the toppings would have been all over! Probably one of the most memorable places we’ve eaten in a long time. Highly recommend the pizza, the owners & the...
