Fleetway Travel Center — Local services in Brookhaven

On March 23 2019 at around 1720 I took a seat in the restaurant. I ordered a drink and found a meal on the menu. Three other people walked in sat down ordered drinks. While I was waiting to order. They received their drinks ordered, the waitress asked the other person that was there before I entered if he would like something else to drink. The waitress passed my up several times never acknowledged me in any way. I got up to leave and noticed she was then on the phone. If you're going to run a truck stop with a restaurant then acknowledge people, if it is just certain people you want in there then put a sign up that says General Public will be served first and with the utmost respect, all truck drivers can expect rudeness and to be crapped on. Will never spend any...

An explanation is in place,the people here are friendly enough,there is plenty park8ng,even if the lot is dirt,but what would it be if there was no truck stop,eh? the reataurant is open from 6am to 9 pm, their prices are very reasonable,I give this place an unofficial 4 or 5 star,why? bc they try to provide a safe haven for us,even if they don t make a ton of money,but officially bc of the dirt lot,and the small store and limited menu at the restaurant I cannot give it more than 3.5... But I like this place,a reminder of the past,how our old timers used to truck...

15AUG13- The Men's Room was out of a horror movie!!! They havent been cleaned in WEEKS!! Giant hole in the wall that exposes plumbing across both cubicals...and toilets sit 2 inches from the cubical wall on both sides...ur leg practically touches the guys' in the next cubical!! The water is scorching hot, but Im thankful I was able to burn off any filth I may have picked up here! The Restaurant might as well be the restroom, its just as dirty! Its a DAMN SHAME the food was DELICIOUS!!! This was my first & LAST time to ever pull in here! Thanks...
