Like all fairs prepare to eat good fair food, see and pet animals, watch neat shows like the pig races (get to that a half hour early, seats full up fast!), tractor pulls, arts & crafts and lots of carnival rides and games to enjoy. The food prices were pretty pricey compared to other fairs we've been to which was a downer. Stay away from the food vendors who don't post prices. I ended up paying $23 for a small empanada and 1 shish kabob of chicken. I was really salty about that considering you can get empanadas for a few bucks at any Latin restaurant or food truck. They practically have an army of people walking around picking up after those that are inconsiderate enough to miss the ample trash and recycling recepticals. Animals, tractors, fair-food galore (shop around - there are so many offering the same things you can save a couple $ here and there). Read moreI think this was the best Country Fair we have been to yet! They had beautiful animals and the community is truly dedicated to bringing the best in class for their competition. The exhibits and vendors were very informative and friendly. I want to give a special shout out to the Scouts for the incredible chicken dinner plate, at only $15, this was well worth it and they even waited on tables!
