Walgreens — Local services in Brookside

It's amazing to think that in the year 2018 in America the racism and prejudice against people that are different is alive and well. These people infiltrate and are able to get jobs and positions where they are able to practice there hurtful discriminatory ways on the everyday people that they have to serve and have a rooted hatred against. In this case I'm afraid that some of the pharmacy staff at the Walgreens in Stanton are able to discriminate against and cause problems for people who they do u or like duento there hateful views... so I can tell you to stand up against the hatred and bigotry that exists stil in our country today and not patronize Walgreens and Sen a clear message that we cant live this way and wont. If not for ourselves then for the kids and then people that come after and may or have the voice or the know how to speak up for themselvces. I have given this Walgreens thousands of dollars over the years for liffe saving medicaion. The only way to send a messaage is to not give them anymore money. Because they don't really care about the well being of any person. With big business they care about the dollar bill. So let's not give money to companies like Walgreens who allow and hire pharmacy staff to be hurtful and discriminatory and let's take or dollars and go where we are respected and appreciated and truly cared for and who want us TO BE...

I have worked retail before. I have been a retail manager. I understand that is an issue. But my experience today I was appalled at the way I was treated in my local Walgreens. I needed laundry detergent and body wash. I do not carry a purse. I had my wallet in my hand. And each aisle I went in the motion sensor would ding notifying the team that customer service was needed. Even though I didn't ask for any customer service. The customer service representative over to ask me if I needed any help. I told her no I just need a few things and I'll be out of here. Carrying a jug of laundry detergent and looking for the body wash every time I walked back and forth the motion sensor would ding. And here she comes. The last time she did not leave. I felt as though I was being watched. As if I were a thief so I confronted her and asked if I could speak to the manager. I told them that I will gladly choose another drug store. One that doesn't treat paying customers as thieves. I do not want to be ridiculed trying to buy my daily needs. I really hope they re evaluate thier theft deterant and rear paying...

I have been coming here for years but the last two times I was treated poorly, this young girl with blond hair has ignored me twice. (She has only been here for a month) The first time she was on her head phone and claim she couldn't hear me. But walked away from the register right after she took care of the person right in front of me. Then the second Time I came and asked her what is a less coupon she told me she didn't know and then when I couldn't find it and I put my things on the register she ignored me and walked away again as if I wasn't there. I see why Walgreens is always empty. She also claimed Walgreens doesn't care if she wears her ear pods. So I guess we don't matter as customers or maybe the colored customers don't matter. Cause this young girl didn't mind ringing up the white woman in front is me but refused...
