La Trailita — Restaurant in Avondale

I spotted this food truck on the side of the road and decided to give it a try. Even though it only had a couple of reviews, I figured I’d see for myself. I don’t speak Spanish, so there was a bit of a language barrier at first, but the lady running the truck was super helpful. We used Google Translate, and it worked out just fine. I ordered a chicken burrito, and while it was a little on the cool side, the filling was packed with juicy seasoned shredded chicken, lettuce, beans, cheese, and onions. The flavor was really good and had a nice kick. I also got a single beef barbacoa taco with cilantro and onions on a corn tortilla, and it was awesome. Great spot to grab some tasty Mexican food to go. So authentic. The food is delicious. We tried three different types of tacos and they were amazing! Highly recommend. We can’t wait to go back and try more...
