Harts Meat Market — Local services in Brooksville

We were referred to Harts after we tried their Blueberry Sausage at a friends (which was to die for!) and decided to check them out ourselves. Upon walking in, we were welcomed by everyone that was working. A gentlemen went over their whole process, where they came from and everything that they had to offer. We purchased peach bourbon sausage, jalapeño sausage and filets. Publix is usually our go to place for meats but they’ve been lacking the quality we’re looking for. The filets we bought from Harts were the best damn filets we’ve had from any place. So tender— just perfect! The jalapeño sausage was amazing as well. It packed not too bad of a heat but had tons of flavor! 10/10. Haven’t tried the peach bourbon sausage yet but if it’s anything like the rest— it’ll be a home run! I believe I have found the equivalent if not better butcher shop than my PA butcher's. The boneless ribeye was some of the best beef, it as tender and marbled fat was melt in the mouth flavor. My wife and I both enjoyed the Mountain man breakfast sausage has a great spice profile, not to peppery but very tasty. If you are a pork chop on the grill fan, I have to say that I had one of the most delicious, and tender. Only things I have left to try is the alligator sausage and bacon, I can guarantee you that I will be coming back often. I will also tell everyone I know. Thanks again for all you guys do. This is my go-to place and has been for about 7 years. I used to go to their old store down the road a ways before they opened up your new shop. The meats are of the highest quality in the area. They are a family that makes me feel right at home every time I walk in the door. They truly are a blessing to our community. The quality of the sausages amazing. The hand-cut steaks that I ask for never a problem. Always more than willing to cut me a one and a quarter inch ribeye. That's how I like my steaks thick.
