Hernando County Fair Association. — Local services in Brooksville

We were there for a covid vaccine for my 91 year old mother in law. We couldn't believe how well the hernando county health workers and staff had this set up. No issues we provided pAperwork and it was a breeze.! Congratulations go out to the State and county for this setup. It took me awhile to get her registered and then awhile to get the appointments. That was a bit of work, i believe it will get easier as time and more people get vaccined. The fairgrounds looked like it could use a tlc. But we would go for a event if one was interesting to us . Great setup, cant say enough about that process there. Hope your vaccine is as easy. FYI , she had NO side effects at all, just a little redness and soreness ay injection site. Get yours if you can. The wife and i will have to wait until we get home for ours,unless Florida opens up to outsiders. FLORIDANS,should be first. I see all other states are doing the same. Good...

We came for the Hernando Invasion car show. I have never seen such a disorganized group. Their ad says free admission but we had to pay $10.00 to park! No one is directing cars where to park. Only one bathroom. The show cars parked where they wanted to. Not a lot of cars there. When we were ready to leave there was only one exit. We had to drive through the crowd and all the vendors which were set up on the roadway. Then there was the closed gate. But some one did come open it. The road was blocked by folks coming into the show. It sure would have been nice to have a police officer directing traffic trying to turn right on a high speed roadway. I wonder how many accidents...

It's an okay place even though it's fairly run down they do a lot of events there it's basically just an open field good for while I'm open air concerts downfall is for me anyways I live right up the road so any kind of loud events if I'm not participating I can literally hear what's going on from my house the plus side is I don't have to pay for parking I can walk there and I don't have to worry about the traffic obviously or waiting in line to be directed on where to park other than that it's an all right place usually when they have events they usually have directing traffic and there for people's...
