Flory's Antique Depot — Local services in Brookville

Bought 2 rusty wall brackets here. The unclearly written price tag read as .40 cents. Turns out the tag said $40 instead. I didn't realize my mistake until after the sale went through and I was in my car. I looked at the receipt and immediately went back to the store. It was less than 5 minutes after I had made my purchases. I explained my mistake and asked if I could have a refund. The lady at the desk pointed to the sign that read No Refunds and made no exception for such an easy mistake to make given the messily handwritten price tag. I get the policy, but it was kind of terrible to not be accommodating in this instance given the huge difference between 40 cents and 40 dollars. Won't be going back here, and won't be recommending this...

Went in here twice in the last few days, very genuine, clean and well maintained antique store. They have a ton of fun, unique items from different vendors as well, along with a basement full of goodies. Was fun just getting to look about and buy a few things.

One of the workers (Becky?) was very sweet and even brought down the price of a xylophone I wanted, as well as wrap glass items up to keep em safe, appreciated that.

Sign calling Mike Dewine a “dictator” for mandating masks on the door. I drove 30 minutes to get here. Don’t trust a business who’s against the mask mandate to do any sort of due diligence in making sure mandates or social distancing so I won’t be coming back. Losing customers to espouse your political beliefs is an interestingly fervent thing to do during a pandemic when your vendors likely need all the business...
