A lot of the reviews I keep reading from yesterdays show are very negative, my experience with my wife was the opposite. We drove 4 hours from southern Massachusetts to see what this was all about. We also had the flight club experience tickets, they are pricey but 100% worth it IMO free catered lunch (very good) and drinks all day (water/soda)(alcohol not included). You also get a ticket for 1 free alcoholic drink which was nice as well, yes the show was delayed 2-3 hours because of weather(expected with outdoor events) but once it started it was one of the greatest experiences for myself and wife that we’ve had in along time we loved the hornet and thunderbirds the most, the feeling in your body when they fly by going 700+mph is unlike any other, constant Adrenaline rush along with our minds being blow at how skilled these pilots are while experiencing enough g force to knock out a small elephant. Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the day considering it was all volunteer work that was a huge plus. Me and her can’t wait to go again when our children get a little older so they can also experience the professionalism and passion everyone that hits the sky shows. And to everyone complaining about weather being too hot, you bought tickets to a outside event in August on a runway, that is 100% your fault prepare better next time and stop giving bad reviews because you can’t take responsibility for not...
Read moreI thought the Air show was Fabulous. However, I was disappointed in my experience on the ground. I paid $125.00 a ticket in order to have great seats and all the food I could eat. I will say that I did have all the food I could eat, However, When a person pays $125.00 he/she expects more than hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken and pulled pork. I would have expected more than that. The soda was slightly cold, I do understand it was hard to keep it cool, but it should have ALL been chilled in advance. Not as the tub was emptying. As for the seating, (the seating I was promised with my $125.00) Good luck getting a chair to sit in if you got there at 12:00 like I did. I drove from Connecticut and with traffic, the trip took me a little over 5hrs. My friend and I almost had to stand while we ate. Luckily, someone moved and we were able to find a chair at a table. While I was standing (because I could not find a chair) during the show, an older gentleman (who was fortunate enough to find a chair) yelled at me because I was in his way. Like I said, the show itself was great, but whoever hosted my section did a poor job at making sure everyone was comfortable and making sure we had a menu worth the $125.00. Great Job Blue Angels. Thanks for the poor performance on the ground,...
Read moreThis event was an absolute disaster. We came from the lakes region (1.5 hours away) for the air show with our three kids, all under the age of 6. I was at the last air show in 2018 and it was awesome!! I was so excited to share that with my kids. They were so excited to see the show and all the planes. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. We arrived in Brunswick off 295 around 10am and there were no signs anywhere on where to go for the show so we followed our GPS to the airport. Turns out that way was closed but there were no signs posted anywhere that it was closed. We then spent the next 3 hours in a rolling parking lot waiting to double back and get into the show. There was zero organization and it appears as if they were not prepared at all for the number of cars arriving. Which is strange because all the tickets were pre-sold this year so they knew exactly how many people to expect. We had to give up finally and just leave. I was devastated and my kids were extremely sad they couldn’t see the show. I will look elsewhere for another show, but I don’t see us returning to Brunswick in the future. The air shows response to numerous upset patrons? “Oh well” and “should have been here even sooner” and “better luck next time”. Just sad and a...
