Xfinity Comcast Customer Service is a joke!! Set up service with this company for the 1st time. Went to pick up my box today as I was told to after placing my order (with no issues) and upon arrival I was told I had an outstanding account balance with them from a previous account, (which I have never done business with)!! They gave me a phone number to the collection agency handling the account and I called them. They said that they couldn't see anywhere that Comcast / Xfinity actually sent my account to them and they went far back! Called Xfinity Comcast back, and talked to the supervisor and they did a 3 way call and talked to them!! Again they got the same response they have never had a collection in my name for this company. You think this would have resolved the problem!! Heck no. Still wouldn't give me the service and told me I had to pay the balance in full for an account that I never had or an address that I never lived at! Can't provide me with a bill or tell me anything about the account, collections never heard of it and they expect me to pay for it with out any proof! I'm in insential worker that was hurt on the job while providing clean air for customers at their local Supermarkets and that didn't matter! I've been a Comcast/Xfinity customer for about 18 years straight and a few more years in another house. They came out with a Rewards program.
Because I've been with them so long, I have Diamond status. But there are no "rewards" on the site. So Brick status will get you the same offers that I have.
It's broadcast on their site in banners and on the top navigation.
I go to rewards and it says I have rewards waiting. I click through. But no rewards. I call and ask and they have me download the app and try there. Still no rewards.
Then the rep informs me that I have no rewards at the moment. Well, I haven't had rewards for many, many months, so why do they keep advertising it? When do the rewards come? Maybe they'll be offered when I call to switch Xfinity off to switch to another provider. But when I call, it won't be negotiable.

   Read moreThis office is staffed with people who don't want to be bothered by customers. I tried hard to give them some feedback on a service call they made for an 80 year old woman I know well. I wanted to let them know that the service tech who had went to her house to install VOIP phone service, had not preformed his job well, most likely a lack of training and a young tech with little experience...common errors, running a "Blue" cat 5 wire across the front of a "Cream" colored house, making it visible from the street...Leaving a pile of insulation, drywall drilling and wood chips on the carpet in a corner of the room behind the couch... Just sloppy work. The thing is that the folks at the office did not act as if they cared what I had to say or that I had to reconnect all of her WIFI devices because the tech had changed the "Passkey" from the passkey labeled on the "WiFi / VOIP" gateway...
