1. We had to buy everything, including a pot with cover, frying pan, flatware, salt and pepper shakers, can opener, and paring knife. The management was very reluctant to reimburse me, but they finally did when I told them that the room was advertised as fully equipped kitchen. They gave me plates, bowls, glasses, and cups from a dusty storage room, but only after alot of persuasion. I had to hand wash them separately before using them. 2. All 4 stove burner metal liners were old and stained and covered up with aluminum foil, a fire hazard! Two of the heating elements didn't even work. 3. The small deck at the front door should have been swept and cleaned before our stay. It was filthy. 4. TV reception was fuzzy, faces were orange in color, and there were hardly any channels to watch 5. My back hurt every night and I tossed and turned on a cheaply made mattress. 6. Their air conditioner blew out alot of cold air, but it didn't have a dry cycle, so the humidity was high in the room, making all of our clothes and linens slightly damp. 7. My suggestion is for management to anticipate problems and deal with them before customer complaints arise.

I would never admit this in public but I stayed at a Rodeway Inn in Brunswick, Maine and no it was not for a hook up so no walk of shame. In reality for the price the room was very decent. There was even a table to do my writing work which is missing from many higher end places. I read a number of negative reviews about the bed, but mine felt almost like new (maybe it was). The room was clean as the bathroom likely remodeled. My only complaint was that the TV did not work well. Overall, it was a value. Could I ever be spotted at another? I just might.

This is my 2nd year staying here. I will be back, the location is out of the way and quiet, yet still easily accessible. The rooms are a bit dated but they are clean and comfortable and have everything you need. I like sitting in the chair by the door enjoying the lovely Maine weather. I'm not too happy about the 10am checkout time now, but I guess it helps to get you up and going in the morning. See yall again in August!

This place was aweful betwwen the staff/owner that lives onsite reclessless ripping aro7nd tbe property on his 4 wheeler and creeping around your windows spying listening to you. Then we are smokers how ever not once did we smoke in our room that being said we bever tbrough our cigg butts on the ground we put them out and placed them in the trash can that sits just inside the room door. When hpuse keeping came we expressed we didnt bedd it somple because tbe room was clean and wanted our privicy. The owner got on a pgone tbe ckeaners handed us and told us we didbt have a choice and that if we wanted to stay we had to let them in. So ok we did. At that very sqme moment tbe owner reclessly cane flying up on his little atve four wheeler. Jumped off and said "you smoked in room my friends" we clearly told him that he was wrong and rhe fact he gadnt even gone in tbe room made me wonder why he would say that. Well then he gos in the room about to feet and said you smoke in room. We tried explainin he was smelling tbe packs worth of cigg butts in the trash can next to him. We had also just decided to extend our stay another nifght and paid a crazy 150 dollers for a room that.. well ill get to that in a min. He said ypu get your money you just paid and go. I didnt even bother argue concidering it was a room infested with ants i mean infested i left a couple drops of soda on the cpunter to return to probable over 150 tiny black ants. The fan abput the stove was exposed no grate and covered in grease and tbe bathroom mirrow had so.e strabd tint on it as 8f it was a mirrow thaf you could see tbrough on tbe other side i swear tbere was probbly cameras in tbe room the beds had what looked like maybe blood along with other things. And they also charged a card of mine then said that they couldnt charge that card and now im waoting for a hold to be lifted for a 174 dollar pending charge on a card. They saud the couldbt charge in the first place. F$#@ that...

I asked for the weekly rate but I ended up paying more for a week than I would've if I just paid by night. They stuck me in a room at the front of the inn facing the road. I cannot sleep with noises so I asked if I could be moved, I was told that these were their rooms for the weekly rate and that I cannot move. That made no sense to me though because when I was checking in she asked me if I wanted just one bed and I said I don't care but she gave me a room with 2 beds so obviously there are other rooms. One of the locks on the door was broken, they offered to fix it but I did not want to deal with that. The light above the sink does not work, I had to brush my teeth in the dark and when I bought a night light I found out that the outlet also didn't work no matter how many times I hit reset. The room smelled so bad (kinda smells like people do smoke in them) so I had to buy a wax melt. Overall this motel was a nightmare to stay at and I wont be back! wifi did not work at all. if you are going to stay here, bring your own bedding and cleaning supplies. I had to clean and scrub the shower and I found hair etc. My room was not clean at all, I found trash around my bed that they clearly missed as they do not thoroughly clean.

I came back to room day before check out when it was past dark, I entered my room and couldn't see anything as the light I left on had been turned off. I was very confused as to why anyone was even in my room as they had already come before. They left on the broken light that has a slight flicker...why? and on top of that when I went to turn on the lamp I found that another outlet stopped working...this place is a dump do not not...

This is a roadside motel, and looks fairly old, but it is kept up reasonably well. The room was small, just big enough for two double beds, and a nightstand between them, so the people on the other side of both beds would not have good light for reading. The beds were fairly comfortable. The shower/toilet part of the bathroom was small, but the shower had a nice big showerhead with good spray and plenty warm. The bathroom had basic toiletries and a sink out in the main room. So not very quiet and hard to keep dark if people in the bedroom are sleeping. There even was an ironing board, but no iron.||||The bedroom had a desk, comfortable desk chair, but no other seating. There was a combination chest of drawers/ cabinet with a large mini-fridge, with a small microwave and a small flatscreen TV on top. Wifi worked fine. The wall AC is in the sink area of the bathroom, so even though it's a bit loud, it is not in the bedroom. It was off when we arrived, but cooled down a very warm room in less than an hour, and kept us comfortable all night.||||There is a small continental breakfast with make your own waffles, bagels, English muffins, cereal, juice, fruit, coffee, etc. Not bad. There was seating for 10 people, plus a table for six on the deck.||||Service was friendly and prompt. An Indian family is running the motel. They seem to take some pride in running a decent place, not just milking it for money. The price was fair, all things considered, especially for mid-coast Maine during a summer of COVID. But book ahead. Everything fills up and then prices go...
