Terrific local produce market in Bryson City that’s worth a visit! The selection is limited but everything on offer was beautiful. Corn, several varieties of tomatoes, Spring/green onions, sweet onions, yellow onions, runner beans, a few varieties of potatoes, melons, zucchini, cucumber, lovely blackberries, and gorgeous freestone peaches which are hard to come by at most grocery chains. Friendly folks, too! Tap to pay/Square payment available.

I bought $28 (white basket) of peaches on 7/20/24. They looked GORGEOUS. The lady working said that they came from Asheville when I asked. ???? UNFORTUNATELY, it is clear that they’ve been refrigerated. Once they’re cooled like that, they no longer ripen. They taste mealy and terrible. They aren’t nearly as fragrant. I’m so disappointed. What a shame to spoil that much amazing fruit. Beware.

I stopped here today for peaches. They were very juicy and sweet by the way! While I was there I looked around the shop to see what else they had. They have farm eggs, bacon, local honey and a variety of other fruits and vegetables. I look forward to going back another day.

I actually googled produce stand near me this one came up, so we specifically drove here for fresh produce, to be honest nothing really looked fresh so I asked where this stuff came from? I was told Asheville, they had 2 different kinds of cucumbers short ones and long ones, the long ones had a wax coating on them, like found in the grocery store, so I bought the short ones, went home peeled them and they were like a sponge as if they had been around awhile! I also bought strawberries that definitely have been sitting a couple days. Next time I’ll skip this place and stop at the one down the road!...

Jimmy’s Produce has the most amazing fruits and vegetables. We stopped by a couple of weeks ago while on vacation coming through on the way to the Smokey Mountains”. The peaches I got were so delicious that after I got home and they were all gone my husband and I took a road trip back up to Jimmy’s Produce just to get more of those peaches. The business is family owned and operated and they are so friendly and knowledgeable. I know the trip from Florida to North Carolina might seem a little much. But it was a good excuse for such delicious peaches and service...

After making a few selections I went to the check out. My credit card was approved, but then the clerk asked if she could "sign" my name? I said " that's forgry"? She stated it was to prevent people from touching the screen (reference covid19). I repeated that it was forgry, no reached for what looked like a stylist. She said "sigb with your finger". She did not seem to be happy that I would not allow her to sign. As I walked away, she sprayed the screen. Now, wouldn't that be better than missrepresenting customers? Beware of this here and...
