Recently stayed on Settlers Mountain at the Sunset Cabin with our grandsons. Wonderful memories made once again as it has been about 28 years since our last visit with our 2 sons. Family owned operated. The stay was wonderful, relaxing, fun, beautiful sunsets, s'mores at our campfire, hummingbirds galore visiting as we rocked on the sunset porch. Wow. First of all, the places and vistas there are gorgeous and peaceful. Second, they are impeccably clean. And the service is one of the best I've ever seen. It's also close to all the town amenities and about an hour from Asheville for a more "big town" experience. I can't...

The view from Settler's Mountain is beautiful. The cabins are quaint, quiet, comfortable and affordable for a vacation. Rented "The Pinery" and it slept 7 people comfortably.

Tip: Once you get on E. Alarka Road, follow the Settler's Mountain signs instead...
