The pharmacy at this location needs a complete overhaul and new management. They have no respect whatsoever for your time. I took the earliest appointment they offer (9:30 am) for a couple of vaccines. I got there at 9:20 am, checked in and despite only ONE other couple sitting there waiting, they did not call me back for my shots until 10:05 am. Nobody bothered to say anything to me, nor apologize for the unwarranted delay. The woman behind the counter was friendly enough, but honestly everyone there looked miserable, confused and disorganized. I have also written to their corporate office just in case they aren't aware of how little regard this location has for it's customers. I had a very similar experience to this one a few months ago here as well. I gave two stars only because my experience in the store itself (not the pharmacy) is much better.
Really hoping CVS opens a location near here soon. Walgreens will be a ghost town when/if they do. I have used the Goodyear CVS location before and will now be going back there unfortunately, even though it's a 20 minute drive for me. This place is literally 2 minutes away from me. So that should tell you how bad it is here.
Edit: changed to 1 star. Total incompetence at this pharmacy. Do not use this pharmacy or you're asking for frustration. I had my prescription set for auto refill. Four days ago I saw that it was pending fulfillment. A that time I still had four doses left so I wasn't too concerned. Now, four days later, it still is "Pending". I call this morning to see what's up and the guy on the phone rudely tells their computer system is down and didn't know when it would be back up and to check back later. Two hours later I get an email and text that my prescription is ready. Just in time. I get in my car, drive to Walgreens and they literally have the window of the drive thru covered so you can't see inside and a sign on the window stating their computer systems are down and I'd need to go the Walgreen's on Yuma and Watson. Why, then, did you send me an email and text stating my prescription was ready? What a joke. I'm done with this place. As soon as they bother to fix their systems I'm having my prescription transferred to Fry's. In the meantime, I am now out of my medication and don't have the time before they close to drive 15 minutes over the Yuma and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI hate this pharmacy. I donāt blame the employees, I blame Walgreens for always keeping their pharmacy understaffed all the time. The second you call, you are always put on hold and many times mis informed when I can pick up my medication and causing me to go all weekend without until that following Monday to contact my dr because they told me it was there on file when I called on Tuesday and in fact it was not. I was told I could pick it up on Friday and when I went in on that Friday after 5 pm it was not there. On top them forcing you to do the full 30 days and a day to get a narcotic due to their policy of the drug laws. Plus the newest policy is they do not fill narcotics in the morning and you have to wait until 1 to 2 pm to get it filled . Also I was told that it didnāt matter if there were 31 days in the month. You picked it up on the 1st thatās when you can fill it plus the half day on the 2nd. By ever right you should still halve a pill on the 2nd of the month. Yep thatās Walgreens. I had all my medication transferred back to Costco. I had problems at Walgreens on bell in phoenix as well to why I had it then sent to Costco. Once I did I had no more problems. When I moved to Buckeye they sent me to Walgreens again which was a mistake. Now Iām back to Costcos pharmacy where Iām treated with respect, compassion and Iām never put on hold or miss informed when I can pick up my medication. I have a disease in my spine that causes me to be pain all day every day. Iām not a drug addicted and donāt like being treated like one and thatās exactly how I feel each month when I have to get my medication from them. I have never abused having it. Without that medication I canāt live a normal life itās a sad reality but itās something I have to live with and one day I will be crippled or have my spine bust like my mom which costed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually use the Walgreens on Watson, but I have just recently switched over to the Walgreens on Miller. I had a medication sent over which I received notice that it was ready. Went to pick it up and they told me that my insurance was expired so I left with no medicine. Today, the day after, I call with my insurance information and I get to speak with Leticia. After being on hold for over an hour and hung up on three times. This woman proceeds to be extremely unhelpful, unprofessional, and gave me an attitude of an unmannered child because Iām asking her to update my insurance information and do her job. She then at the end of the call proceeded to threaten me and let me know that I can find her at the pharmacy any day of the week. Mind you I kept my cool because I could go to her level but why would I? I donāt even know this woman yet this is what I received. I have never been met with such unprofessionalism in a place that is supposed to be providing medical care. The fact that this woman physically threatened me because she was incompetent annd incapable of articulating what she needed to do to complete her position and her job is appalling. I will be escalating this to the highest authorities and I will never use this pharmacy again. Leticia needs to be fired and removed from ever Speaking with any type of patient in any type of medical setting. She has zero empathy, zero professionalism, and could use a class on decorum and etiquette. If you want to be threatened use their pharmacy. Iāll stick to the one on...
