My daughter came up from MD this weekend. She hadn't been here before. Told her she was in for a treat. Lol I said grab a cart and fill it up! She couldn't believe how much they had and the freshness as well. You could tell most was picked from the field that very day. The store keepers were helpful and answered every question I had. I asked about what veggies and fruits are freezable right from the start. No all are. I got instructions on each item and followed them when I got home. Always clean, stocked. You can find just about everything you love. Peeled garlic I bought two and Froze one. The half a peck of small cucumbers I'm pickling tomorrow. Tomatoes aren't here yet but next couple of weeks they will be ready! π π ππ ππ But the NC and hot house varieties are there and were pretty tasty. Oh! Picked up Conte's sauce (frozen) cheese capatelli, cheese and meat ravioli, meat and cheese tortellini. Homemade balsamic vinegarette. You name it, they've probably got it or can order it for you. Hope this helped some one. Enjoy your summer! Eat...

I chose this location because of its proximity and the variety of fruit and vegetables. Unfortunately, it was not worth the tolls or the money I spent.
Upon arrival, there was no greeting or acknowledgment; in fact, everyone working there appeared disengaged and unhappy, for lack of a better term, methodically walking around and stocking produce. The tomatoes I purchased were not ripe; some were mushy on the inside, while others were hard. They lacked the earthy flavor that distinguishes them from their supermarket counterparts and had a waxy texture with no aroma. I also bought cucumbers, which were hard and dry except for the very center. The cantaloupe was acceptable, as was the watermelon section. Millville will be the next area I explore, as there are back roads with more options.
I was extremely...
Β Β Β Read moreI make sure that I come to this produce market each time I have my dental appointment in Vineland, N.J. from Christiana, DE. The vegetables and fruits from the surrounding farms are so fresh and luscious that it is as though they were exactly what you see in a magazine photo shoot. it is the best produce farm market that I have been to in years, and I have to struggle not to over purchase products that I don't have time to prepare they are so beautiful. This year I plan on doing a little canning for the winter so that I don't waste...
