Terrible selection of produce. Worst I have ever seen at a grocery store. On multiple occasions I have seen Rotten fruit and vegetables on display. Everything is either within a week of expiration or at expiration. So if you buy anything here make sure you double check the expiration dates. In the frozen section most bags are full of freezer burn and frost. In the meat department the meat has turned brown or green... $20 for two very small almost expired ribeyes. I could pay less and get a better steak at a restaurant. When you go to check out they only have 1 cashier so it's takes FOREVER to check out. I have sat in a checkout line for over 10 minutes with one gallon of milk. I'll drive the 30 min to wallmart or MTN HOME HARPS for WAY WAY WAY better groceries. I went in this evening to get 2 two liter drinks to go with our pizza, after making the purchase the man working the register hands me the drinks in a single bag, as he hands them to me one of the drinks falls through the bottom of the bag, he gestures to me and puts them both back in a single bag. I remained polite through the entire event. I asked him if I could exchange the drink, his response “for what?” So I replied with, “for one that didn’t just hit the floor?”. He throws his hands in the air and says “Do what you want”, so me knowing something has crossed him wrong and due to his tone and attitude, I just take my purchase and leave in order to avoid confrontation. It’s unfortunate this is the only grocery store in this town otherwise I wouldn’t go back. That...

I don’t know what’s worse here—the prices or the selection. It’s clear this is a company taking advantage of food deserts, offering mostly overpriced, unhealthy, and sometimes questionable options to communities with few alternatives unless they’re willing to drive 30 minutes or more.

This is also not a store for anyone with food allergies or dietary sensitivities. Options are limited, and you’ll likely need to travel further out to find what you need.

That said, the staff is generally friendly and the store is kept clean, which is why I’m giving it three stars instead of one. But folks around here deserve far...
