Yeah hey instead of letting a driver just stand in front of the window of receiving for 10 minutes tell him you'll be with him in just a second or ask him if he needs some help. It's not hard, especially if he's the only one that had walked through the door and your face is behind the computer terminal and there's obviously nobody in the bathroom that he's waiting for for 10 minutes standing in front of the window with papers in his hand not knowing what dock to go to and then asking him like he's dumb do you need some help or are you waiting for the bathroom with that tone after 10 minutes. What do you mean does he need help you're receiving office with the window open. Tell him to set his papers down and you'll have somebody come talk to him in a little while. What the heck do you think he was standing there for? He's obviously being polite. Just a thought. Or check this out if you don't like dealing with people or you're too busy you're given too much work to do to help somebody that doesn't know what the heck is going on he's just told to go up a ramp and check in a building where there's a sign that says receiving if you don't like dealing with people like that then get yourself a little magic marker and write on a piece of paper just set your papers in the little basket here and somebody will be with you later go back to your truck. Then put up another little sign that says if the bathroom door is locked it means there's probably somebody in it so that he doesn't have to ask you if there's a key. Isn't that simple? Don't get at him like he's bothering you or like he's stupid. After 10 minutes of ignoring somebody do you need help like he's stupid with that tone. Yeah hey do you know where there's truck parking in Laughlin yeah I need help. Oh yeah is this the receiving office yeah I could use a little help. Do you know where a lobster buffet is in Laughlin where a truck can park what do you think I'm standing here for? I'll bet you say that to all the guys. Instead of telling me thanks for my patience just tell me I'm bothering you and I can leave this truck parked here for 34 hours and take a uber over to Laughlin. Lol. And believe me if this situation was reversed somewhere somebody would be fuming 100 times more...
Read moreI do not recommend this place for diesel techs, they require you to do their own certification stuff and rarely if ever give you time to do said certs, it seems like they'd rather keep you doing mundane tasks. I started with 5.5 years experience and knew how to do most or all of the maintenance and repairs that they do in-house, but because I lacked paperwork to verify the experience they kept me solely on trailers or washing trucks. DO NOT apply as a technician if you don't like doing tires. All of that said, outside of the garage, DOT seems to care at least marginally about their employees but some of the leadership drastically...

The receptionist took the time to explain to me about the publication what they did a young man took the time to take me around the complete facility and explain everything in the benefits of working for them. I will definitely go to work here when I get...
