Infinity Pools — Local services in Bulverde

In July 2021, I began researching pool companies in the San Antonio area to install an in ground pool in my backyard. After that research, I had four companies provide me estimates. All of them sent a representative to my house to meet with me, discuss my initial ideas, and take some initial measurements. After two weeks, I had estimates from all four with specifications. Only two, however (Infinity Pools and Gary Pools) provided illustrations and designs along with the estimate. Both of these companies were fairly close in price and very similar in design. The illustrator for Infinity provided a better looking pool, with quality equipment and travertine stone decking around the pool to include my existing concrete patio deck as an option. Gary’s pool was unable to deck my existing concrete patio but said they would provide a third party to contact. Additionally, Infinity provided 4 feet of decking on the sides of the pool whereas Gary only provided 3 feet. For these reasons and the fact that Infinity had flawless recommendations from other customers, I signed with them to begin in October 2021.

Infinity sent the manager/owner Tom Caldwell, out to lay out the the boundaries of the excavation, which was a nice touch being that he made himself available throughout the project for any questions that arose. After that, the excavator did his job in a week. Plumbing and Rebar was laid out next a few weeks later. Then the gunite crew did their thing in a day. After allowing the gunite/concrete to harden for about three weeks, the holidays were upon us and things slowed for a bit (which was fine as the main construction was finished). In January to February, their expert stone layers did the pool decking and that was a remarkable job! A few minor finishing touches and the pumps and automation equipment was installed. The project manager came out a couple days later after I filled it up with water and fired everything up. Overall, it was about a four month construction project over the holidays. Impressive to say the least!

I’ve now had my infinity pool for the summer and I can honestly say, I am extremely happy with it! If you want a professional job, with an eye for quality, don’t hesitate to use Infinity! ...

Today, I have a dream pool—something I had always hoped for but never imagined would turn out this perfectly. More importantly, I have positive memories of the entire process, thanks to Carl and his team. They made what could have been a stressful project into an enjoyable and exciting journey.
