Rustic Unlimited — Local services in Bulverde

Ok I just have to share this. We wanted to send a little something to our adult kids in Idaho for Christmas. So I called this local small business to ask if they offered shipping. They told me that they could do that but it would cost the same price if we did it personally. I agreed and the following day went to the store and picked out the gifts. Each gift was going to 4 different addresses so we numbered each package to correspond with numbered names and addresses. We paid for our items and was told they would call us with the shipping cost and we could pay for it over the phone. Now...I was thinking they would package them up and enter it in their computer and have ups pick them up the following day. So the next day we waited for the call for the charges. It kept getting later in the day and no phone call. So we decided to go to the store to see what was going on? I walked in the store and the only person in charge was a young girl I explained to her why I was there and she told me that the owner left about an hour ago and had our packages and was at the ups store. OMG!!! I had no idea that they would physically go to the ups store. To me that was above and beyond customer service !!! While I was at the store and was about to leave to return later in the day to pay the charges the owner called me from the ups store and gave me the charges. I paid the charges before I left. How many businesses do you know would offer this kind of service? I was blown away and if possible I will support this business for all my future gifts for all occasions. WOW!!! Support...

After driving past this place for many years, decided to stop by and so glad I did. I used to go to smaller cities such as Bandera or Blanco for rustic and unique items, but Rustic Unlimited had all the same type of items. These items range from materials made from recycled goods, wood, clay, pottery, metal, etc.. There is also a large amount of furniture and household items inside. The pottery, metal, and wood items are located outside on both sides of the building.

The staff was very friendly and immediately greeted me upon noticing me outside. You can casually browse around as you look at all the unique items. There is a wide range of items for whatever taste or looks you're going for or whatever price point you're aiming for. All the pieces looked well-made and had a lot of character. I've driven by them for over 20 years. It was always on the way to my destination or on the way home. I never took the time to stop. My wife was looking for some talavera pots, and I remembered seeing them from the highway. We took the drive to see if she'd be interested in what they had.
