What a treat it was to stumble upon this unique home decor store. Moss and Embers oozes personality and passion. The entire store is STUFFED with everything you could want for your home. My wife and I could have spent thousands of dollars here. We certainly tried.

The owners are very hospitable. Offering M&M's to my 3 year old. I was even offered a handful of expensive candy to try. I swear I walked out of there with my pockets loaded with delicious handcrafted candy. They also had excellent music playing which got my toddler in the mood to bust a groove which then had the whole place dancing. Yeah, it's that kind of heartwarming environment here at Moss and Embers.

The owners gave us the story of how the name Moss and Embers came to be and I thought it was a divine way to bring the customer into the mix. As my wife and I were driving back home, our car loaded with decor from their store, we thought... Oh you know what, our names are Eric and Meghan. 'M' and 'E'. Just like Moss and Embers. Perhaps this whole experience was meant to be.

I highly recommend checking this place out if you read my reviews. Extremely large and unique collection of indoor and outdoor decor. Both personal and exotic. Both unique and comforting. The name brought us in. The decor had us buying more. And the owners made the experience special.

HIDDEN GEM ALERT!!!! I've passed this place a dozen times and never stopped. My bad! This shop is exactly what EVERY shop of this type should be like. It was arranged beautifully, great variety, unique/fun inventory, and reasonable prices. We were greeted by the owner, Karen, she asked if we had been there before and then explained the layout of the shop. We were then free to wander without being nagged or ignored. We noticed other customers who came in receiving equally pleasant greetings and treatment. Hugs for those who had been there before. I could go on and on.....but in short....great shop, great customer service/support (they even carried our items to the car and thanked us for stopping by). A hidden gem, worth the trip! I have been meaning to review this place for a while, just because it honestly deserves it.

Every item they is so beautifully curated, and you can be confident it's of the best quality. There's a little something for everyone, making it a great stop for unique and thoughtful gifts. And if you enjoy supporting local artists, they have a great selection of that too. This cozy shop is bigger on the inside than you might expect, and the space continues outside into another quaint building. Really, it just keeps going.

As if all of that weren't enough, it doesn't compare to how amazing the owners are. The moment you step in, they welcome you like one of their own. They are core members of this lovely community, and even though I don't know them beyond our banter in the shop, I can safely say they are some of the most friendly people...
